I believe Buddy's intent is that this will be the submission thread and that we'll start a judging thread. I think what I need to do is boost this across the boards to get some more interest.

Well, yeah. The GOAT argument is stupid because you can't truly appraise players from different eras, and you certainly can't appraise players in different positions.
