I thought maybe he was hoping Caleb would take charge and use the timeout himself According to his post game interview though, he regerts nothing To summarize terribly "They were supposed to run the same play (the one caleb got sacked on) twice. Then they were going to use the timeout." Honestly? I think Seight is on to something. That, or the Coach owned some people money who were betting on that game -
Sooner fans did it with 26 seconds left >.> Our State is 49th in Education

more like stand at the door and meow constantly until you go outside, then she continues to meow because she wants warmth, but she's a total bitch so she doesn't want to be held What she actually wants is someone to warm the seat up for her and then move >.>

2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences
molarbear replied to NewBluntsworth's topic in Current Events
That's fine. It was that way during covid, after they quickly added the notary part (IRRC) It really doesn't bother me though. Banks, lawyers, paralegals, all do it. They also cannot charge since it's a ballot. Also, it's not like it's a surprise that is dropped on you out of the blue. They tell you that when you sign up for the ballot now, it's also printed in huge bold letters when you open the instructions I for one, am grateful I do not have to go stand in a line, in a crowded building, on election day. That is just something I hate doing.. any day though -
2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences

I mean, at this point it's a known tactic that works for their side. They literally have an entire fake news network working for them who got sued into oblivion, by Dominion... and they let them settle instead of forcing them to admit their entire network is a fucking lie. And then we have the debates... where once again they claim both candidates will be muted if they go over time, or speak out of turn. Wtf did Trump and Vance do? Go off on Migrants supposedly eating cats and dogs, both were fact checked, but both were allowed to continue speaking afterward. I get tired of hearing this "it will be fair" when It's one party always breaking the rules and, when the other party finally attempts to respond the network is like "Ok... now mute both of them." While I'm on a political rant, I need to get this off my chest and it's not directed at anyone here... If I see one more person in my state complain on reddit about how difficult it was to vote, I'm going to lose my shit. If there is one thing my state does well, it's make it easy to vote. I have done mail in voting for years now, and while you do have to get it notarized, that's it. After you fill out your ballot, and put in a privacy envelope, you take it to a notary, who checks your ID and watches you sign it, and then signs it themselves while logging it in their little notary book. Then you put it in an even larger envelope (provided to you) and you put a stamp on it, and mail it. People are like "Where do you even find a notary????" I dunno, I feel like if you were able to go through the process of getting setup for mail in voting... you should be fully capable of googling "notaries near me". Why does this anger oh so much? Because, we had 1.4 million people not vote in my county. These complaints are very similar to the same shit people said two years ago when we voted on recreational weed and no one could believe it did not pass, even though voter turnout was literally like 12% of the state. Having a month to get your ballot notarized is not voter suppression, it is at the minimum an IQ test on whether or not you should be able to exist as a human and not immediately turned into soylent green to better feed impoverished people of the nation
