I didn't hate the reboots. They kept showing a huge, aquatic dinosaur swimming in the open ocean, though. That never came to fruition, they just went with the old "T-rex hybrid is the most scary thing ever....but only if you're stuck on an island with it" They could have taken the angle of the ecological disaster the dinosaurs escaping would create.
