  1. Had that happen with eggs, but it didn't go my way. The manager said there is no way I can use 2dozen eggs in a week.
  2. Make sure you have at least a month to recover if it's a big one. I had 4 repaired at the same time and felt horrible after.
  3. If you're thinking about chromebooks and want to do taxes I'd research what software you are using. I believe that they have a contract with Turbo Tax, so other tax software can't be installed on them easily if at all. It's why my brother didn't get one since he uses Block. Check out facebook Marketplace in your area. I sometimes see people selling good gaming level stuff that isn't good for the newest games anymore, but will overpower any cheaper workstation at usually less cost. Also what you need can depend on which browser you're using. Chrome can easily use 2gb or more on it's own if you are using tabs and spreadsheets. So I'd suggest going with something with at least 8gb of ram if you run multiple apps at once. So if you have chrome running with a dozen tabs and a tax spreadsheet app going you're probably going to be hitting over 5gb of ram usage. As for CPU if you can find one with a cheep i5 great, if not an i3 or the ryzen cpu's will work. I also would suggest getting one of these hot swap usb devices. I use one, pretty much turns your hdd and ssd into a thumbdrive. It'll allow you to make use of your old laptop HDD, and use it to backup your stuff. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00H11QT3S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. Its sad, but also I had a horrible person moment. Because I got really sad when I saw "Lord of the Rings actor Ian" First and assumed Ian Mckellen died, but felt some relief when I saw it said Holm. I apologize for nothing, I know I'm a horrible person.
  5. As for Snap though to get back on topic. I think it may be too little too late for my interest. When I was younger just about anything pokemon would have grabbed my interest. If it had the word pokemon on it damn sure I was going to play it. Though now I don't know if just taking pics of pokemon in a rail shooter type game is going to appeal to me at 31 the way it did 20 years ago when I was 11. I mean for snap on the N64 it was pretty much just a score based game with minimal puzzle logic. Today there are just going to be walkthroughs on youtube within the first 3 days about getting the optimal score for each pokemon. Really that is all there is for this type of game after you beat it for replay value. Just playing again to try and beat your score. If you are just cranking out perfect scores you end up with nothing to beat. Though Nintendo is going to release it for $60. I don't fully have enough confidence in Game Freak in how they might try to implement new things. I have a feeling they've gotten the DLC greed bug. Like with what they did with Sword and Shield. Oh $30 for 5 new pokemon and a handful of NPC to battle; my cup runneth over. So I can see whole routes in snap getting put behind pay walls.
  6. To be fair the Wii was a gamecube. It could use both the controllers and play the games. It was also a part of the Wii's problem with becoming underpowered since it was a last gen system in a new shell with a motion sensor. Though a new system coming out and killing the old one is nothing new. The ps3 killed 2 and so on. The thing is that Nintendo does this bullshit marketing that fools nobody and is like, no it's another pillar of the nintendo name. All these systems will continue to be supported. Meanwhile you can pull up a wiki and see what games are planned for release. Actually surprised that 8 games have even come out for the 3DS in 2020 so far; also odd that the Wii U has 5 games listed as released in north america in 2020, but Japan's last game for it was in 2018. Though yeah they tried to say that the 3DS WiiU and Switch were the 3 pillars of the company and would be supported for "years" to come. I ended up selling my Wii U the moment the switch was proven not to be garbage. I first planned just hacking it, but I was so damn disgusted with the Wii U I may have sooner just smashed it with a hammer. At least I actually got a good bit of money back when trading it into a local store. I got around $120 for it. Sucks that I only had a few physical games though most of the stuff I had were digital. The problem with Nintendo's systems since the gamecube is that they have no secondary function other than playing nintendo games that make them worth keeping around. I used my PS2 for years as a DVD and CD player. My PS3 I still have in my living room to play blu-rays and used it to watch youtube on before I got a smart tv in there. My PS4 and XBox One S play the new games and I can also use them to play blu-rays. Point being there is some utility for them other than playing games on them. Nintendo at least in the past had devices that helped justify leaving a system plugged in. Like on the SNES I used the Super Gameboy on it a lot. I probably played more pokemon on my N64 with the transfer pack in stadium than I did on a gameboy. The GBA adapter for the Gamecube was great, then the Wii could play Game Cube Games so it was like just buying an upgraded system like having the 3DS but buying the New 3DS xl. The Wii U and Switch though are pretty much just what they are. I think the switch overtime though may get some updates to make it a more capable tablet. However I don't think it would be one that adults would fine as useful because of how restrictive Ninteno is with what functions can be done on their devices.
  7. I have the switch lite, and its pretty much a dedicated handheld. If they wanted to make it super portable though I think they'd have to use whatever tech samsung is using on their folding phones. If it were possible to fold a lite switch they'd actually be able to fit in a pocket. Also wish they made the battery bigger for it. I have to have the thing in a case because I'm not trying to stuff that in my jeans as it is, an extra 4oz from a larger battery isn't going to kill me. From what I've seen a lot of 3ds games are getting ported over to the switch. It also doesn't do the New 3DS XL or New 2DS XL any favors that they've been priced out of relevancy. If you were looking for a handheld it would never make sense to get a $170 dead system when the Switch lite is $199. I have the black switch lite, and 2 new 3ds xl. One is the silver monster hunter one and the other is a gold hyrule one. I held off on getting a switch for a while because I was waiting to see if there would be a cool limited one to come out. Though everyone they've made has been pretty lame compared to all the different types of 3DS they've had out. That being said I did go with the most generic and boring color of switch lite that everyone seems to hate. Also if you are ever looking for cases go with Butterfox. I have one for my switch lite and another for my new 3dsxl's and they're great. Really smooth zippers which is an ocd of mine, can't stand zippers that don't have that perfect zip.
  8. Switch is still a tablet, but I agree. Just the lack of wii u games really killed a lot of confidence I had for nintendo. Still it opened up an era we hadn't seen since the GBC for good portable games on the 3DS. It's a shame though that the 3DS is going to be phased out in favor of the switch. 3DS was probably my favorite nintendo system since the N64.
  9. I said I wanted a fucking sandwich!
  10. Yeah me and my brother I don't think would ever dream of acting how a lot of kids act in public. I remember getting beat for kicking my legs under the table or playing with silverware, not even the making noise, and that was at like pizza places or hotdog/burger places. I actually give those places a pass because they're made for families. Though god do I want to punch parents in the face when I'm at a bar or when I'm at a place where the cheapest things on the menu are $20 and their kids are acting like heathens and the parents don't do anything about it. They just expect everyone to ignore their bad parenting like they ignore their children. Though yeah I think the staff should step in at some point, but with social media outcry these days they'd probably get fired. I guess everyone has a cousin who can't act right when out. My one cousin was pretty much a fuck up from the gate. No indoor voice, would make fart noises with his mouth all the time, when he was a teen he was stealing from my grandparents, didn't go to my mom's funeral, knocked up some chick they both got high and his kid was out in the snow with no coat; so they got arrested for child neglect and his mom is now watching the kid. Point being if he wasn't an embarrassment in restaurants his life probably would have turned out better. A lesson to parents to leave your kids at home if they don't know how to act, and beat them on occasion.
  11. Kids under the age of 10 shouldn't be allowed in restaurants that aren't fast food or family diners. Get a babysitter or don't go out and ruin everyone's time with your screaming crotch goblins that are either to young to know any better, or are too old to be acting like little shits in public.
  12. Would you could you in a box? Would you could you with a fox?
  13. Coffee first date if you hit it off then go somewhere to eat. Don't do a movie unless your only intent is to makeout during it. Movies for the most part are just the two of you sitting in silence for 90mins. Meet girls through dating apps. It is really difficult to pick up girls in the wild especially now when everyone is wearing a mask. Only get a wingman for one night stands. Wingmen pretty much just hype you up and make you seem interesting to start conversation, or act as your get away driver if shit isn't working out. Pretty much just talk about the most generally agreed upon topics and just bullshit your way through it. The key is to just get her talking and let on that you think she's interesting as hell even if she's boring as fuck or just talking nonsense. You drink beer and nurse it, while you make sure she gets mixed drinks.
  14. Yeah if your ISP is doing some shady bullshit like that they're useful. In my case though I pay for 90mbs and they were giving me under 10mbs, while I was getting 60mbs with the VPN. Asshats wouldn't even reimburse me for the time that I didn't have high speed internet. They did get me a new modem though, which was jack shit of the problem because I know it was just a number they had capped in their computer. Hell for a while they kept trying to blame my router, until I said fuck it and just did a direct connection from my modem to my pc. Then they were trying to say my cable must be bad despite it getting good VPN speeds. It's really crap like that which annoys the hell out of me with them. They haven't tried it with me again though since I called their bullshit.
  15. Their use is kinda limited. Many sites actually block the popular fast tab ip addresses; so unless you want to go into advanced features and look up lesser used IP addresses in other states or countries, it may not be as useful as you'd think. On average it also slows your internet speed when in use. I did have an interesting discovery though when using mine and called bullshit on my ISP. They were throttling my service, which I could tell because I was actually getting faster speeds with the VPN. They said it was an equipment issue on my end, but that made no sense since the VPN is using the same equipment; so they were just trying to cover their ass. Torrents run into same issue as above though. You need to research an IP to use because the fast tab ones they have won't work. Really the best use you can probably get out of it is region locked streaming services. If you're doing sketchy shit it's better to just use tor to hide from your isp. Though if the Feds want to know what you're doing online there is little you can do to stop them. I've attributed these to putting a deadlock on your front door, but conveniently have a patch of rocks outside and a bunch of ground level glass windows. If someone really wants access to you're shit, they're getting it. It says something when multi-million dollar companies spend hundreds or even millions on security and still get ddos attacks. These $100 VPN services aren't really going to do jack shit against something like that.
  16. Actually went out that way when I was little. My mom used to take us to living treasures animal park which was like 2 miles from there.
  17. I just liked it more when it dealt with vampires. Though I don't think that gore is an issue seeing as attack on titan does double jojo in ratings on average.
  18. Okay well sent the message hope to hear back from her. Just general questions about dubbing in lockdown and asking how she is doing. Though point shown, it takes no effort to send a message to someone. You don't have to be some insider with connections. Guess I could have also sent the email to monica, Matt Greenfield, Kyle Hebert since I have as well. It's almost like if I ever had a question about voice acting, I just asked the voice actors instead of waiting for a convention. Also industry stuff and sometimes box releases. I remember asking Tiffany about the eva blu-ray a couple of years ago that Japan was getting to see if we would be getting an NA release. This is also when I learned about licensing deals and how they work. That every format has it's own deal that needs to be bought, and there are also regional licenses which how we sometimes can end up with multiple dubs for the same show at the same time like what happened with DBZ between funi and ocean.
