  1. Biden will probably win my state. My state hasn’t went to a republican presidential candidate since 1984. I don’t see Trump winning NY this time either but no one gaf about NY anyway 😆
  2. Let’s just place this here. I’m sure it’s already linked but jic
  3. Isn’t kind of late for him to be doing that considering he’s been practically quoting the shit with the poison he’s been saying?
  4. I’m sorry but I don’t discuss politics with Jingais, which you most certainly are. It’s just not good for my mental health
  5. People gotta wake up. that we are even talking about Biden when the republican candidate is fuckin Trump is all we need to know. People would rather vote for the guy who is pretty much saying “I’ll dismantle democracy day 1” than Biden. There’s no spin for this and the polls are probably way off. Trump is probably ahead by a lot more. Poll accuracy is really dependent on human honesty. How many Trump voters are out there that would never admit in a poll (for whatever reason) that they’re voting for him. I bet it’s enough to fuck a poll up. “Panicky democrats” idk man maybe we should be fuckin panicking because we been here before and we’re doing the same fuckin bullshit
  6. It’s something but I don’t think that’s gonna work. It’s not the hardest thing, amending our constitution, but it’s also not that simpler. Especially in these times
  7. If everyone in the US wants to continue enjoying democracy then Trump absolutely cannot be allowed to win. Project 2025 will be an end to democracy. That’s not an exaggeration
  8. I don’t think it’s ageist to be concerned about the mental capacity of either candidate. They are both old and only now are media outlets releasing reports from “those closest to Biden” who have had concerns about his mental health for the last year. When McConnell had those episodes everyone spoke about it. For a lot of people it was the first time seeing Biden looking old and sometimes lost. People age differently. Sanders and Pelosi are dynamos. Biden not so much. Are we going to do to Biden what happened to Sen Feinstein? Her decline was ignored until it became all anyone would talk about because it could be ignored no more and then she was paraded around for all to see and a lot of people wanted us to believe she was fine. Also McCain. Remember his bizarre blunders in the end? Just want to add that idt Biden is in Feinstein territory yet that shit was very sad
  9. Other than the beginning of the debate I didn’t think Biden was a disaster. He just was bad, with some strong moments, not brain dead. With that said, since the “disastrous performance” narrative has fully taken over, Biden should drop out, but it has to be RIGHT NOW. There isn’t time for delay. Trump is a 34 felony count convicted candidate but all we are talking about is Biden. That cannot happen. Trump should not have a chance, yet here we are. All I can say is “jfc not again” This is insane, where we are….
  10. We’ll be dead and never see that happen
  11. Oh shit Kennedy is married to Cheryl Hines. Idk she was bat shit too 😮
  12. Oh snap is the worm brain Kennedy the same Kennedy that used to cop heroin in Harlem? I thought that Kennedy had died
  13. Just as our founders intended /s
  14. Perhaps we should all die holding our breath waiting for Congress to legislate what acts are to be considered official and which are not. I stand by what I said before. The founders of the country would never ever have wanted the decision the court made yesterday. Those so called originalists should know that.
  15. It’s infuriating when you learn how difficult it is to prove someone’s innocence once they’re convicted. District attorneys will refuse to look at evidence no matter how compelling. A lot of it is ego shit. I hate it. Blaming Progressive voters is a little unfair considering Progressive candidates often get shit on and don’t make it on the ballot. Progressives are also often outspent as well. We’re also dealing with a system stacked against progressives and really Dems in general. I often wonder if it’s intentional incompetence. I do agree however that we also have to go out and actually vote which is not something democrat and progressive voters seem to be good at.
  16. Impeachment is the only way, I guess, to punish a President. They’re above the law now, well, at least Trump is. It’s not like Biden could assassinate Trump as an official duty for the good of the country. Lower court would probably say that doesn’t fall under official duties but c’mon. Ofc it is. President’s do fucked up shit all the time. It’s part of what makes them age in dog years when they’re President. Trump didn’t age that much cuz he’s a psycho dbag without a conscience
  17. Trump confuses solar power and electricity saying the military wants electric planes that will drop out of the sky on a cloudy day but Biden is the one too brain dead for the job. In 50 years we will have Futurama and our president will just be a head in a jar both picks suck but only one was declared king by SCOTUS rule and will abuse the shit out of that ruling
  18. I thought they used Trump’s interactions with and concerning Pence as an example of what he’s within his scope of duties as President?
  19. My friends from HS still call me “Purple” 😆
  20. Congress is the legislative branch of government the judicial branch interprets the laws and the executive branch enforces the laws that the President is no longer bound by and again the chevron doctrine was a deference by the courts to allow experts to decide regulations. It’s why our waters are cleaner and why we don’t use lead paint and asbestos. The demise of the doctrine gives power back to courts to decide things where language and laws by congress are absent. It’s not courts deferring to Congress and waiting for them to legislate it’s courts deferring to no one. Congress was always allowed to legislate. At least the doctrine offered some protection against stupidity and greed but since they weren’t elected let’s go back to days when we could stuff mattresses with garbage (and sell them) and when rats walked freely and in large numbers around food processing facilities
  21. Shopping cart
  22. My complaint with Harris is she opposed DNA testing when she was a DA that could have gotten a man off death row. It’s not a deal breaker though. If possible complicity to genocide isn’t a deal breaker, her decades old decision on DNA testing can’t be one either. I’ll hate myself forever because I’m voting Biden (if he’s not replaced) but the truth is any decision I could have made would lead to that anyway. It’s not like I love myself anyway. What’s a little self hate for the rest of my life gonna harm? 🫠
  23. The Chevron Doctrine seemed perfectly reasonable as far as I can tell with my extremely shallow understanding of it. It seems reasonable to me that courts would defer to experts when there are no existing laws or clear language from Congress. Now we have to rely on this bat shit Congress to make the doctrine law, or legislate every little thing including things they don’t understand at all.
