Also the problem is democrats and the more left should listen to people when they say they don’t like something. Example, I been learning Spanish for a few years (no i am not fluent) and in every single Spanish learning language group I am in the people hated being called LatinX but AOC insisted on saying it and everyone was like “well if the Puerto Rican woman said it’s ok…” no they hated the term so much and were offended by it. Most felt like North Americans (US Specifically) was trying to tell them how to speak and demonizing their language because words have gender. They absolutely hated it. Another thing is people keep saying Latino as a race but it’s not. In many countries they have White/Black/ Indigenous racial dynamics and it comes with all the awful stuff or most of it like anything else We also need to stop accusing everyone of being sexist racist and homophobic because it’s not working.
