Special edition of Toonami to air on Friday, November 26th
CountFrylock replied to 3ngag3's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
so will it be a marathon or will it be the normal line-up? I'm thinking normal line up with a new show because hiding a marathon or doubling up yashahime again makes no sense -

I Had thought that myself(otherwise it would make no sense to do this unless toonami's run by idiots)but of course toonzone's moderators are dumbasses who like to spew such crapola as "Avatar The Last Airbender is more iconic and popular than Naruto" or "Anime Isn't Anywhere Near Mainstream in the united states" nobody cared to correct them because anytime they do they are threatened with a ban just for telling mod what they said isn't true so they simply let them run around screaming that toonami's gonna die because of a blade runner movie airing friday november 26th -

You Gotta wonder though(and someone on the cursed toonzone/anime superheroes forum said it)how much did this cost toonami if anything?(below is the statement) "I think this is the first mega budget Hollywood blockbuster ever aired on Adult Swim as the only other live action movie I can think of that they ever aired is the Room. It always seemed like Adult Swim had a way lower budget than most networks as if they had the budget, I think they'd downplay animation in favor of Harry Potter, superhero, John Wick, Adam Sandler, and Transformers reruns ad nauseum like every other cable network. Okay, I'm glad Adult Swim seems like its the only cable network that hasn't succumbed to modern cable network trends. This is just a one time special occasion to air a live action movie and, even better, it's a movie outside the cable network rerun pool.I'm very surprised they aren't airing it on Thanksgiving Saturday to stall for the budget reset, and I am wondering if this movie is what drained their acquisition budget so badly as a Hollywood movie is probably worth as much as three or possibly even four anime series. We still don't know the Saturday schedule and what will air. Will we get a new show, a marathon, or double up Yashahime again?" -
Final thoughts and opinions on MHA Season 5?
CountFrylock replied to CountFrylock's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
I think it's silly to say MHA Referenced that when La Brava's small size is never really mentioned nor is it a vital part of her backstory -

Even Brief Nudity is too much because this is still airing on cartoon network no matter how much promotional material states adultswim is it's own network outside ratings that is it's still airing on cartoon network and as such has to operate on the logic that "Little timmy could accidentally stumble upon this and get his mother yelling at adultswim" -
maybe they actually managed to get a new show?....because if the schedule for 11/27 is shown tomorrow and it's just more doubling up I'd have to wonder what was the point of putting the blade runner night on friday if saturday they were just gonna do the same thing as 11/20

unlike season 4 which ended on the endeavor vs high end nomu battle cementing his place as the new number one pro hero in japan season 5's season finale seemed lame in comparison if the order had been shifted around then maybe that wouldn't be the case however studio bones thought MVA would make for a better story to conclude the season instead of endeavor agency i can see why they thought that but in doing so it screwed with a lot of stuff

it shouldn't be that common though...once these movies leave the theater it takes an ungodly amount of time before they reach physical format/streaming as i said it took 8 months for heroes rising to be released physically after it left the theater Owlchemist commented that mugen train was in theaters for 2 months so World heroes mission being kicked out after not even a week seems bizarre MHA isn't the massive success that demon slayer is but it's no slouch either it shouldn't be getting yanked from theaters so quickly as if there's not enough money to be made from it sticking around any longer

but this limited? 4 days is not enough time to get out there that isn't even a week not everyone would be able to go see the movie as soon as it came out

yeah it's crazy....i wanted to go see it but couldn't really do so anytime soon and that sucked because as i said it's not sticking around long at theaters add to that...it took MHA Heroes rising(the second film)8 months for it to come out on blu-ray if the same holds true for world heroes mission then people who couldn't see it at the theater would have to wait until june of next year to buy it physically

This season finale didn't feel like much of a season finale compared to The season 4 finale where endeavor fought A High End Nomu another thing i think it sucks that by this point the third movie world heroes mission has been removed from a lot of theaters i think it would have been cool to see that promoted during the season finale but because october was the month of interruptions that movie came out the week of the fena pirate princess marathon the theater in my hometown only had it for 4 days before they completely removed it....i know anime movies are limited but i didn't think it would be that limited

yeah it sucks but what can ya do? My Town's not really vaccinated and the only way for us to stay safe is by continuing to isolate ourselves indoors and waiting this out -

11/6 lineup FINALLY announced!
CountFrylock replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
this update is double MHA and a fena encore run(one week after the marathon so it isn't all that special)with naruto moved up and a bonus shorts block(which will probably be the rick and morty anime shorts) I Don't see what's so exciting about that -
11/6 lineup FINALLY announced!
CountFrylock replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
batman the long halloween just felt....underwhelming and lackluster in my opinion Part II dragged on way too much and villains were randomly thrown in just for the sake of having them appear even if it made no sense as was the case with the joker where his prior motivations went out the window in favor of being a henchman which for him seems weird as he doesn't seem like the kind of character to just play by someone else's rules i only really care about schedule changes that affect the block in the long run and couldn't care less about one night events as it's a "One Night" Event that only affects that night good or bad they are just temporary pauses on the regular block for one reason or another -
11/6 lineup FINALLY announced!
CountFrylock replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
exactly if anything announcing them sooner would stop people from assuming there's no new shows coming or toonami's just struggling that much to secure them that they'll be down to the wire announcements do we really need every schedule change to be treated like it's gonna be something amazing and a well kept secret? no but the way toonami handles them gives off this vibe that they are
