I'd just like something positive to come out of demarco's twitter account lately regarding toonami...that's all instead with this news I'm just hoping sony doesn't block toonami from more than just demon slayer

still seems weird that demarco would comment about sony blocking them from getting demon slayer on twitter...wouldn't you say so?

either way.....should toonami try to find a replacement or just settle for airing the cheapest of the cheap animes to avoid running into issues like this?

this raises a question "How Much does toonami need shows like demon slayer And MHA how much do they need the mainstream super duper popular anime?" because people have noted there's many cheap series toonami could pick up that would work perfectly on the block but is that how they should operate...picking up cheaper lesser known shows? if that's the case then do they lose anything if they are unable to air the super popular stuff anymore

i think we will otherwise it would be weird to air new blade runner black lotus on another block of reruns or a movie....if they are taking off christmas weekend then why aren't they doing the same for new year's weekend?

at the same time though new years day is also a holiday and black lotus airs a new episode then

i guess even originals can't be aired on 12/25 since we now know black lotus takes that night off in favor of a full marathon we do not know about yet

sadly that's just how toonami is right now i guess until january.... with the only exception being next week' where we get the last 3 episodes of yashahime S1 and some naruto

how many more times will we need to have a blade runner marathon?

Saw someone on twitter brought up the idea that toonami should air cartoons from all over the globe like England and Belgium instead of mostly Japan and maybe some American stuff thrown in as an hbo max promo but do you agree?

Yashahime Blade runner and fena are the only marathon options i see them having(can't really see them doing An MHA Marathon) Fena aired every week no matter if it was a marathon or not so i see the same apply to blade runner

honestly at this point i expect a normal schedule....as you said CN is premiering we baby bears on 1/1 so it would be strange if toonami still has to stall for new content by then

some people seem confident that toonami will just air a marathon on 1/1(perhaps another blade runner marathon)since it's new years day but despite that...I'm not sure how often toonami has actually kicked off the new year with a marathon just seems like something they tend to avoid unless they really gotta do it

so do you think Yashahime's time slot will be quickly filled come january or will it be something we might need filler for? that's the only thing I'm curious about as I have doubts they'll just dump multiple shows on 1/8
