I'm not assuming they still have the rights to everything they've ever aired i know they don't but options are very limited now and if sentai's off the table(depending on what amc's plans are for them)then that would leave just viz media as a toonami partner we already know crunchyroll content is most likely off limits no matter what it is viz media's always been a reliable source of content for the block but given how uncertain things are in this new streaming age I'm not sure if things will continue as usual or be different between them and toonami reruns are something i don't like thinking about leading the block....however if they have no other choice then i can't blame them if it's the route they take

although the AEW Thread Here isn't doing any better than this one is this site just for shit posting now?
-
i haven't bothered thinking about harley quin or young justice on the block because i know WB would never allow that to happen....they acknowledge toonami when they need something to be promoted and then they go back to not giving them anything with the door closed on crunchyroll titles DC Titles being available only for special purposes and sentai's status being unknown due to the amc buy-out that doesn't leave them with many options to fill the block moving forward there's only so many originals they can pump out in a year and solely relying on viz wouldn't get them anywhere

jeez this thread's pretty dead.... anyone here care that much about wwe anymore?
-
and then constantly talking yourself out of watching something before going back on the prowl for something you actually wanna watch....

so in other words it appears that the solution to toonami's problems are reruns of good shows that they haven't aired in quite sometime or they've only aired on adultswim but not toonami proper maybe that's what should lead the block moving forward since Toonami Originals haven't exactly been the most exciting thing on the block and I'm not too sure if Yashahime S2 or Food Wars S5 would be a good lead show

Reruns...to be more specific reruns of shows that toonami has not aired in quite sometime or it's only aired on adultswim proper... Primal Reruns are performing quite well as the lead of the block so maybe just maybe toonami doesn't need to go digging for hidden gems or focus on pumping out originals as consistently as they can maybe reruns of good content is all they need to draw people to the block

regardless of what replaces AC....does anyone think we really need that last hour of toonami? it's reruns and reruns of shows we just finished watching on the block....a user on twitter noted how that hour is basically dead weight at this point i wish i could understand why people here keep making the wrestling's gonna be on toonami joke.....cartoon network never aired WCW so it boggles the mind how this thought came to be Yeah at this point it's Yashahime or food wars...no way it's anything else

CountFrylock replied to OwlChemist81's topic in Episode Discussion Archive
this show is carrying toonami for me.....AC is almost over and unless it's replaced by something truly great then Lupin will be the only reason I'm excited for the block I Don't have Hidive(i do have CR Though)so this is my first time seeing Part 6 -
there's a free demo on the eshop and it'll turn into an online test fire soon

new crunchyroll ads have started appearing in new york city
CountFrylock replied to CountFrylock's topic in Anime & Manga
some comments noted how it's strange that these ads featured one piece when it isn't a seasonal show but i guess they felt that they couldn't leave it out of these ads -

I Also wonder how the audience is going to react to a subtitled series shorts are one thing but it's odd to expect the average adultswim viewer to get into a series that isn't in english
