it occurs to me that i've never had it in a savory dish without all the "pumpkin spice" (which i detest). i mean, i generally like squash. i could conceivably be missing out...

yeah, samson's like that. he'll stand there and stare at the dog while he eats like, "you gonna finish that?" he's even stuck his head in there and swiped a few mouthfuls while the dog is actively trying to eat. fortunately for him, the dog is kind of a pushover.

my dog dog loves the jerky. he will pout aggressively if i don't share. the cat, oddly enough, loves the dog's rawhide chews. like, the cat will fight the dog over what are supposed to be dog chews. he is so weird...

he ended up eating about a third of the can. that gelatinous consistency starts to make me feel gross after about the first two anyway.

i'm extremely empathetic, fortunately that's countered by a high degree of apathy. i care, just not enough to do anything.

seriously? the dog is literally drooling all over himself and i've had to swat the cat away three times. you'd think i was eating canned pet food. i mean, one is mechanically separated animal organs formed into sausage like shapes and covered in a barbecue sauce. the other is just mechanically separated animal organs.
