It's the oblivious nature of people. One of the first tasks my Dad gave me when he managed a Dime Store was to paint the rusting metal entry doors to the store. The doors were in pairs & I had to prop each open to work on the interior portion. Instead of opening the other door, or going the 45' to the other entry, people stepped over me to get in that open door. I think I might have even gotten some dirty looks because I was blocking the easier access. Ditto when we were closed for inventory - big signs on the doors & windows stating the same. People rattling the doors to get in, despite the sign right in front of their faces, then moving to the next door and trying it.

Crap. Never considered an apocalyptic Lemur uprising...

I'm a decent shot with a bow or rifle (never tried a handgun). I might still be good with a slingshot, but it's been a long, long time. Same goes with building a fire from scratch & I remember enough basic chem to distill water. Haven't fished in a long time either, probably '70s. I know how to mushroom hunt. And if all else fails...

...with that woman who sounds like the "Stepford patient". Yeah, it kinda creeps me out. Initially, I thought it sounded like it was Scientology related, with the "Base Reading" bit, but the rest of it shows no Doctor talking to her, just some other woman in a sweater. I question this. Mostly because I think there is a Bible passage where it's mentioned that Jesus will sit at the right hand of God. Why/How would God sit at his own right hand? As to the name of God, I think there might be a carryover from the mystic side of Judaism, where knowing God's actual name gives one the power to summon Him. I cannot think of any human being that I'd want to have such power.
