Blame the Pandemic. Really, that's all it comes down to. The PS5 didn't really start hitting the common household until 3 years after its launch thanks to cost and chip supply issues. That and with game fidelity being what it is on THIS system and the "Pro" upgrade only just coming out next year, I wouldn't expect any next gen consoles before 2029. Though when the Pro version does come out next year, that's when Sony and any other streaming/app companies are gonna cut support for PS4.

The entire concept of Shippuden was broken, as if it was written by a severely neurodivergent child whose never interacted with another human. The only real way for it to have made any sense was if it were a Sasuke Vader story. His radicalization is too deep, thus it's up to Naruto and Sakura to come to terms with what he's done and take him down (with a possible "Redemption Death" as the extra saison). It really warrants it's own alt-story, like a Pluto type deal.
