  6. One time I went to a party supply store and didn't get a boner. Didn't buy any balloons either. (And that's the part where my dumb brain ignored a possible sexual encounter).
  7. What is this I don't even
  8. Attempting to boil an inflated balloon is a bad idea. All that'll do is quickly ruin both the balloon and your pan. However, boiling uninflated balloons is actually a thing. Submerging an uninflated balloon in boiling water for about 5 minutes can result in a balloon that's capable of inflating to a far larger size than normal while retaining its stability. It's not something to do with cheap balloons, though. If you're gonna do it, you'll need a higher quality balloon (like Tuftex or Qualatex). Also, it still ruins your pan. And while on this subject, baking balloons is also a thing. It is, however, much more of a gamble since, while a baked balloon can potentially be inflated to a far larger size than normal, it is also significantly more unstable. Also, if a baked balloon survives to be inflated past its rated size, it'll most likely wind up popping into countless tiny shreds (kinda like confetti) instead of larger scraps. Because of this, balloon baking is usually only done by people who like to do blow to pops and are after the coveted shred pop. And, much like boiling a balloon, this also still ruins your pan.
  9. Only if poof consents too.
  10. Aw, thanks. I strive to be a wealth of admittedly situationally useful knowledge about the things I love. :3
  11. But I thought the whole Reptilian thing was specifically about lizard people. >.>
  12. Can... can I watch? I mean what? <.<;;
  13. I thought the correct term was "Person of lizard descent".
  14. Yep. Static electricity can definitely cause a balloon to pop. In fact, if you're ever seen balloons (that weren't overinflated) just randomly explode out of nowhere, the culprit was most likely random static. Static is a big enough problem for balloons that most party decorators, balloon artists, and florists tend to have static guard spray on hand. I've also had my fair share of personal experience with static destroying balloons. As a looner, I learned pretty quickly that whenever I vacuumed my room, I needed to put all my balloons away (preferably somewhere elevated) and keep them off the floor for at least a few hours afterwards. Any time I got the balloons back out too soon, there would be at least a few spontaneous KABOOMS (sometimes many). I also learned that during the Winter I had to be significantly more careful with my balloons in order to avoid popping them. The combo of carpeting and dry air (from having the heat on) made static buildup a huge problem and often resulted in lots of unwanted pops if I wasn't careful.
  15. Not too much, though. Otherwise I'll pop. x.x
  16. I almost missed it myself. Seems I'm slipping as of late.
