  8. I feel like every "Woody lesson" got a little more mature than the one before it. Toy Story 1 - it's ok to share the attention of someone you love Toy Story 2 - it's better to love knowing you will be hurt than to never experience love at all Toy Story 3 - it's ok to let them move on from you Toy Story 4 - it's ok to move on from them yourself idk how they can keep that streak going

  16. You know, that's a good question. I know that there are some folks out there who are into that archival aspect of things, but I don't know off the top of my head if anyone retained a master list of ASMB avatars. Maybe someone plugged into that side of the world can pop in?

  20. 2004 built all my game-related expectations with the interminable delays for both Zelda: Twilight Princess and Resident Evil 4. Ever since then it's like I hear a tentpole game is announced and then next thing I know all the sudden it's out with no hype. I know it's a me-thing but I still can't shake it.
  21. Couple years ago we ordered takeout the night before a trip, and I was talking to the guy at the front desk about plane travel and how we both traveled unsupervised to meet grandparents in Florida or whatever. And so I say "yeah it was just totally different pre-911, your parent could walk you to the gate and your grandparent could meet you right at the other gate. And he goes "ah... yeah... I never got to experience that..." So I recognize he's younger than me and I says "oh yeah you probably weren't old enough to remember that" And he says "I wasn't born yet" and when I couldn't hide the shock he was like "I'm 18, I was born in 2004" and gives an intentionally awkward smile and thumbs up. and then I turned into dust
  22. happy tugjob @molarbear
