Most of the times I've played online, any lag didn't really affect the games. But if you're like super tryhard I guess it would matter.

What are your thoughts on blind dates generally? (leaving aside this particular setup) It just seems like such a weird concept to me I dunno how I'd even handle it.

When I said I liked parts of math, I was definitely excepting trig. That stuff was just voodoo magic. I saw an animated graph on Reddit last year that made trig click for me about 15 years too late, and a lot of folks in that reddit thread were saying that part of the problem with trig is that teachers weren't taught to understand it either, so the ones that didnt couldn't deviate beyond the textbook rules to help students make it click, hence appearance of being voodoo magic.

I was hoping that would jog some long-dormant memory, but I think it's all gone. I passed the AP exam and got college credit and by the time I got my high school diploma I never had to think about advanced math again. It's a shame, because I kind of liked some of the puzzle aspects to math. "Here's a huge complicated equation, now manipulate it in all these different manners to solve the riddle."

I remember my precalc teacher teaching us a complicated formula to find derivatives and then he was like "ok now that you've learned it, you'll never have to do it against because there's a shortcut to just change the numbers" I don't remember anything from actual calculus. It was our teacher's first time on the job and, even though it was the AP class, the students just tortured her all year.

panic's initial post was a tentative thing to get the ball rolling so nothing is set in stone. as for voice communications, join the UEMB discord. as far as streaming, the only game it is required for is jackbox (though if people were playing other stuff people can stream if they want, it's a free country), and only person who streams jackbox is ramo or whomever is hosting the game. everyone plays for free and doesn't have to stream. we are literally doing this on his mixer right stream now, voice chatting on discord, the link to the stream is in my previous post.

when we play jackbox, ramo streams on the twitch or mixer and we play the game on our phones or in a second tab, there is literally nothing to install I don't understand

that's why it's the "lite" model, the affordable version with less bells and whistles - like the 2DS was to the 3DS

switch lite has permanent side controllers like a real handheld and no tv compatibility right? so i guess the question is if those things are worth the $100. if not, you did you a good.
