  1. Naruto Shippuden 421 Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer 24 Of all the fillers they could inserted into this point in the canon, Konohamaru using the Sexy Jutsu as an aid in mastering the Rasengan is definitely one of the stranger choices.
  2. For what it's worth, the lawlharem elements didn't get personally unbearable until episode 20, so I'm not as infuriated at this existing as I probably should be. Poor Gunners, though...
  3. I've only seen two of the eight episodes so far, but it's pretty good. Relatable too, being about a fellow newcomer to their desired industry of employment.
  4. This is going on the docket after I finish season 1 of Tokyo Vice. [one j-drama policy]
  5. From episode 3 of Nagoya File's "post-script".
  6. Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon 41-42
  7. "Eh, I don't feel like watching children suffer this week" x20.
  8. Kimi was not Cthulhu, she was Yog-Sothoth. Completely different eldritch horror. Personally, best was Ass Class season 2 finally showing up, worst was Zaslav taking his fiscal chainsaw to the Crunchyroll co-pros. And while it was a nice celebration of the 25th anniversary, I felt that The Return was more than a bit of a letdown.
  9. One Piece 598-599
  10. You're welcome. Lucifer and the Biscuit Hammer 23 Endless L.O.V.E. Pop Team Epic 26
  11. I'm a rare kind where I actively seek out anime from beyond Toonami, but if an anime feels like it should be Toonami-bound, I purposefully avoid watching it, even if the likelihood of it making to the block is less than 1%. It's my own personal Toonami Jail, and starting with Chainsaw Man later this year/early next (don't even try to rush me), I hope to wean off of that crutch. I still watch Toonami via what goes up on [as]'s website, though because hey, convenience is convenience.
  12. When was the last time we had a Naruto episode with sexy results? 12:00 - My Hero Academia #116 - One's Justice - TV-14V 12:30 - Made in Abyss: The Golden City of the Scorching Sun #6 - The Luring - TV-MAV 1:00 - Yashahime: Princess Half-Demon #42 - The Collapse of the Windmill of Time - TV-14LV 1:30 - One Piece #599 - Shocking! The True Identity of the Mystery Man Vergo! - TV-PG 2:00 - Naruto Shippuden #422 - The Ones Who Will Inherit - TV-PGDS 2:30 - Primal #18 - The Colossaeus, Part II - TV-14V
  13. Pacific Rim: The Black 10 The Rising of the Shield Hero 9
  14. Naruto Shippuden 421 Hareluya II BOY 4
  15. Seeing how it's a 2-hour block on Christmas Eve but the standard 3-hour on New Year's, I don't think the block's in any danger of shrinking permanently. If you ask me, I have a feeling they're saving the 2AM hour for a replay of the [adult swim] Yule Log. As for what replaces Primal reruns at 2:30 in 2023, I'm guessing reruns of FLCL Progressive and Alternative (hence why season 1's getting the marathon), as prep for Grunge premiering in the spring.
  16. I understood the pun behind Warren Peace's name from the very first watch. And I hadn't even heard of Tolstoy at that point.
  17. My Hero Academia 115 Pop Team Epic 22 (dubbed)
  18. Oh, so Gemusetto, Post's Game, [adult swim] jr. and Pibby never happened, then?
  19. Shinobi no Ittoki 10 SK8 the Infinity 12 While the former was definitely better than last episode's exercise in forced fatalities for shock value, it wasn't enough to pull the series out of the 6/10 hole it dug itself into, not with the casualties it did add. The latter, on the other hand... you'd need an Adult Swim Infomercial's worth of chef's kisses to summarize how fuckin' great this show is. BONES by name, KyoAni by reputation: a winning combination. 12/10.
  20. Someone draft me up a summary of what went on in this, I have neither the time nor the patience nor the inability to be unaffected by jump scares to deal with watching this on a work day.
  21. Pretty much, but especially the ones that express disgust or concern that they're going on a watchlist just for watching something that was cleared for broadcast by S&P. They're warranted, yeah, but the frequency at which they're voiced has made them overplayed.
