My tastes are notoriously hard to place. Sometimes they're understandable, other times they're not, even when I explain myself on them. I could drop a paragraph or two about why Fairy Dance is my favorite SAO arc despite Asuna getting molested twice in it, and you'd still think Aincrad, GGO, and Alicization were superior. But hey, at least you'd know my point of view on the whole thing after that.

Kengan Ashura 14 I have no idea why I rewatch Saw-Paing's scenes in the original Japanese, outside of wanting to hear Nobuyuki Hiyama's voice after spending two years writing up a hypothetical anime where I cast him as the main character. And with the guy Saw-Paing's fighting next episode being voiced by Naokuu's new boss in Kunoichi S2, I might end up watching an entire episode in Japanese before long.

That's reconcerting, but still, to make part of the story into a movie format is a little f'd if you ask me. (Says the guy who had no problems with Initial D : Third Stage...)

I assume that's the reason the next season of Made in Abyss is a movie?

Eugh, between killing off Dark Knight Blum and his main squeeze, the whole "little boy kills little girl" thing I already knew about, and the ridiculously obvious evilness of absolutely everybody else on the dark side, I'm starting to think this season of SAO may be in contention for my least favorite anime of all time. But let's see if it manages to out-suck Nyaruko-san before I make an official call on it.

MY HERO ACADEMIA - They only appear for a few seconds, and in flashback at that, but Rock Lock's wife and their son that received none of their genes threw /a/ for a complete loop a while back. Yes, it was as overblown as you would imagine. If not for the airborne virus and the obvious separation between series, I think Chisaki would get along well with Purple Haze/Smoke. What a very anime move to make, endearing me to Nighteye before gravely injuring him. 😫 You can't blame Deku's injuries here on his tendency to be reckless with OfA, but I'm sure someone will. How are you so sure your final prediction ends that exact way when all you saw was Deku's face getting obscured by a blood spray, Nighteye? This week's foodgasm takes the form of a '90s-era MTV rap video (with lyrics by the original manga-ka!). Damn that was a harrowing and twisty match, probably one of the best I've seen so far. I kinda love that Meat-Meat's practically one of the Kyokusei group now, even though she doesn't even live there. That had to be the franchise's longest post-credits sequence yet, and it deserved its length. I mean, soon? Of course, I'm probably being stupid about it like I usually do when I read too much /co/ in one sitting - I know they are - but this is the sort of thing I need to get out there before purging myself of it for another indeterminate period of time. ...Ohhhhh, so that's where the "we now return you to JoJo" bump disappeared to!

I subscribe to their channel, but I haven't watched that specific video yet. Mostly because I think I'm gonna hear a clip from the DxD dub in there and my mind's not ready to handle it yet.
