  1. Did somebody say Toshiyuki Tsuru? Because I say Toshiyuki Tsuru.
  2. I'd make another LOGH reference here, but after much consideration, I've decided against it, even with the spoiler tag employed. 11:30 - My Hero Academia #82 - Prepping for the School Festival is the Funnest Part - TV-14 12:00 - Sword Art Online: Alicization: War of Underworld #12 - Ray of Light - TV-14LV - MIDSEASON FINALE 12:30 - Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba #23 - Hashira Meeting - TV-14V 1:00 - Food Wars! The Second Plate #12 - The Magician Returns - TV-MAS 1:30 - Black Clover #112 - Humans Who Can Be Trusted - TV-PGL 2:00 - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind #21 - The Mystery of King Emperor Crimson - TV-MAV 2:30 - Naruto Shippuden #291 - Power: Episode 2 - TV-PGV
  3. Wrong image. Much better.
  4. Love, Chunibyo & Other Delusions! 10 Gungrave 15
  5. No, and neither is your penchant for posts whose only purpose is griping, apparently.
  6. Kabukicho Sherlock 24 That turned out less disappointing than I thought it'd be. Good finale. 9.5/10.
  7. Is this the restaurant where Bucciarati recruits all the newer members of Passione?
  8. Oh go hang out with all the other Tsukihime deniers you parallel universe cretin.
  9. Eh, I'd take it over the FLCL Progressive marathon the "[as] insider" from this weekend's /co/ Toonami thread claimed it would be.
  10. Now's not the time to be a pessimist who ruins the mood of everyone around them, Mochi.
  11. I've generally been good with Mari Okada's works. Sure, they're melodramatic out the ass, but I've typically found myself liking her shows by the time they reached the end, especially Pet Girl of Sakurasou and Gundam IBO. I also enjoyed the snippet of her autobiography recounting her time working on DT Eightron and Angel Tales (while avoiding explicitly mentioning either by name). It's just that there's such a negative stigma around her works by fans not used to melodramas and trainwrecks that it's kind of hard to vouch for her successfully.
  12. While I appreciate the neatness of the prank, this one doesn't sound too interesting to me. Mostly because it aped the fake-out beginning of the Toonami comeback stunt and ripped off the general idea of the 2008 stealth pilots stunt. I probably won't even check out my recordings of it, since I still haven't seen the last three episodes of Primal's first season yet. I might watch the Shivering Truth episode though, assuming it's on the hour and a half I did record.
  13. >Mari Okada's directorial debut I... don't know...
  14. At least the U.S. release of Geminar let people know it was part of the Tenchi multiverse. The Japanese, on the other hand, weren't so lucky, with a title like Isekai no Seikishi Monogatari.
  15. It's not that I think the coronavirus isn't serious, but that some people are acting like extremely subtle drama queens over it. [how oxymoronic]
  16. ...Why does this post read like a "Toonami's gonna die soon" warning? Not that I'm saying it is, but hey, some people might think...
  17. Swap Boruto and GXP and you've got yourself a deal.
  18. You know you could've just posted that here.
  19. MY HERO ACADEMIA - Shows you how inconsistent Mineta's perversions are if he thinks one-piece swimsuits are A-OK but spats in place of panties aren't. I am looking forward to seeing Jiro get some well-needed focus, though. I'm a little weirded out by Eri speaking more than a sentence or two at a time, though that's probably because I haven't gotten used to her voice yet. Oh boy these next two "villains" look like they're gonna be fun. 😁 SAO ALICIZATION - As assholish as the ALO randos this episode were - and boy were they assholish - it was nice seeing all the characters from the previous two seasons again. Y'know, for being a guild consisting exclusively of terminally ill gamers, it's amazing the Sleeping Knights haven't lost anyone since Yuuki. DEMON SLAYER - So, thoughts on the rest of the Hashira... Lovey-Dovey Girl is great, Spacey Boy is meh, and everyone else are kinda dicks. At least Scar and Snake Guy are entertaining in their dickishness, and Tengen has Ray Chase's voice, which automatically makes him a joy to watch. But Flame-Haired Guy and the Crying Giant, whose whole characters to this point appear to be "hey, let's kill Tanjiro and be done with it!"? Fuck them sideways until they get some development. FOOD WARS - It's amazing how the Hisako-centric episode of Food Wars made me like her more, while Hououmaru's episode (technically, OVA) of Kill la Kill made me like her less. Really, it comes down to the people they toady for. Ragyo's that special combination of world-dominating and child-molesting evil, while Erina's just a stuck-up bitch with the world's most sensitive tastebuds, so naturally Hisako's more likeable than Hououmaru. BLACK CLOVER - Science saves the day once again! VENTO AUREO - If I hadn't said it before, I'll say it now. Bruno is the best character in this part, and as one of his "stans", as you internet people like to refer to diehard fans as, I feel the most justified in saying that this episode definitely ended on a down note. We in the Court of the Crimson King now, fellas. NARUTO SHIPPUDEN - Dear god, Tsuru is a master at what he does. Easily the most underrated director in the entire anime industry. Wavy-haired Kabuto is easily my favorite of the liberties he's taken with the original material thus far. In other things [as], I'm sickened yet curious about Beef House. Looks more worth my time than Three Busy Debras, that's for sure.
  20. Shogun Morty's face looks stupid and it made the ends of this week's SAO, Demon Slayer and Food Wars go past the end of their respective recordings on my DVR. Outside of those flaws, it was a pretty neat surprised that I admittedly spoiled for myself by way of looking at the ANN front page.
  21. >no Mew Mew Power Pathetic. I've only ever seen Escaflowne Abridged, but from the moment the new cast was announced, I could tell that Vic as Folken was a complete miscast.
  22. I thought that'd be the case. If DxD really isn't a feasible replacement even hypothetically, I guess I'll sub in Kuromukuro instead, despite the latter's Netflix exclusivity.
  23. Assuming no block reductions or limits on what can be aired... 11:30 - Mob Psycho 100 II (replacing MHA) 12:00 - High School DxD (replacing Demon Slayer) 12:30 - Food Wars! The Third Plate 1:00 - Gungrave (replacing SAO) 1:30 - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind 2:00 - Black Clover 2:30 - Naruto Shippuden Mob because season 1 was fucking awesome and I hear season 2's even better. DxD because back when I watched it during its premiere in Japan, it surprised me with how engaging its plot was and how likeable its characters were. Also, because Demarco hates fanservice and I know airing this without his say would make his head explode. Gungrave because we were cheated out of it during the ASA era, even if we did get Paranoia Agent as compensation for it, and after watching the amazing episode 14, I want to share my experiences with you who haven't seen it yet. Vento Aureo got moved up because it really deserves better than to be sandwiched between the two halves of the Pierrot Power Hour of Pain.
  24. It really says something about the state of isekai when the first ever isekai I plan on watching outside of [as] (assuming SAO even counts) is one where the MC being reincarnated into the other world is female. It helps that the plot (high school girl gets reincarnated as the villainess of her favorite otome game and tries to avoid all the bad ends) sounds pretty entertaining, and the fact that production on the series wrapped before the broadcast's even set to start is an added bonus. Then again, this is me we're talking about, so don't go taking this as a recommendation.
  25. Only the best for Tsuru-sensei.
