Considering it's rock bottom, a drill seems more appropriate. ATTACK ON TITAN - And here I thought it'd be impossible to feel for Reiner after the whole him being one of the villains of the past two and a half seasons thing. While I'm sure Yuuki Kaji changed his voice up some for the injured soldier, Bryce's voice is just too recognizable to not peg him as Eren in disguise. SAO ALICIZATION - Leave it to Kayaba to make a Deus Ex Machina AI of himself for dire moments such as this. I wouldn't call his actions here a redemption arc - when you've got over 4,000 dead bodies on your hands, full redemption's pretty much an impossibility - but considering he wasn't rapey like Sugo, creep-murdery like Kyoji, or that special brand of direct child-murdering evil like Gabe, I'm okay with it. But really, I don't know what little thing about this episode I like more: Kikuoka's unspoken fear of heights, or Vassago disintegrating between when Critter found his body and when the rest of the Americans went to retrieve it. FIRE FORCE - Damn, Ogun's awesome. Even channeled Star Platinum there for a second, despite being more of an Avdol. ASS CLASS - I have a feeling who unleashed COVID-15 (after the show's premiere year) on half of E-Class, but even if I'm wrong, I hope someone stabs him in the dick and both testicles. GRIDMAN - Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think this might be the first time we've seen a cute anime girl's feet up-close on Toonami. 😳 Murder-waifuism aside, Samurai Calibur is easily the Dandiest Ian Sinclair character we've seen on the block since the original. More Yakuza 0 updates. Lost my money to my first real Mr. Shakedown, built it back up by fighting randos, and came across more sidequests. Completed one of them, the Yokomichi Silvers one, earlier today. I'm glad my visual novel-style decisions worked out, even if it faltered near the middle with Sleazy Tarashi's answer for what he did with his mates. I like to believe the delinquent crowd Kiryu helped them satisfy concluded the pancakes he made were super-badass (like, hot sauce for syrup) and their lunches at fancy cafes were akin to customer takeovers.
