Toonami spring schedule change predictions and speculation
Jman replied to Toonamiguy321's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
DeMarco breaks into the deepest depths of Warner Bros Japan, comes out with this - More likely, IGPX resumes its run. -
Started Armored Core 6 the other day. Fun stuff, once you dive into the builds.

Crunchyroll panels at conventions tend to be more hyping up products. Why the holy hell they booked at CinemaCon, which is essentially a big pow-wow for studios and theater companies/owner-operators is beyond me unless they plan to do more limited anime film releases in theaters or Sony is going to begin leveraging the IP of the rather numerous anime adaptations they have in production. Speaking of, DeMarco may also be there for the Warner crew to show off the War of Rohhim ashcan film.

The Times app on my phone reported this first. Way to stay on top of things guys. -

Still it says something when New Yawkers, the most desensitized people on the planet, all snap to attention and wonder what the hell just happened. I’m just hoping this didn’t knock over anything at home. Don’t feel like buying a new TV. -

For a bit I thought it was the maintenance guys at work, then I looked around and everyone was wondering just what the hell happened. Weird. Nothing insurmountable, no tsunamis or any shit, but still freaky. -
There was a friggin earthquake over here. Mild but still very noticeable and freaky.

Solo Leveling 2-10. I don’t know why I binged it, I just remember watching all the dubbed episodes while exercising.

This old thing was on VRV back when it was a thing. They actually showed it off at a convention to a fairly decent response. Never bothered watching it though.

It’d be hilarious if Trump got all this preferential treatment only to blow it anyway, but this is an oddity. Not that his cult cares.

It was meme stock, only there’s usually SOMETHING to meme stock to keep a rally going, like with GameStop being supposedly undervalued because electronics and game distribution during a pandemic had theoretical upside. Here it’s just (slightly more) bigoted Twitter.

Live Action One Piece, from sheer confusion to Season 2 renewal.
Jman replied to Jman's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
Ussop’s actor did a double swerve, promising news before April Fools, only to reveal next season will be covering Little Garden among other arcs. -
Baki equals ratings, so this doesn’t surprise me.

Korean chicken wings. Korean places serve them with radishes instead of carrots and celery and cook them a bit differently. Still good though.

2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences
Jman replied to NewBluntsworth's topic in Current Events
For better or for worse, his big thing was wanting to regulate video games, but he didn’t seem to hate them. He ended up getting the ESRB founded and then backed off the idea of bans, and was apparently the kind of guy who would sign Mortal Kombat cartridges with a smile on his face, getting the joke. Politicians are what they are, but complications from a fall are a crappy way to go, -

Diddy is about to find out how good his work really is
Jman replied to Mix's topic in General Discussion
Diddy's greatest strength was finding people to collaborate with, even if they all eventually left him. Biggie (who allegedly wanted to leave Bad Boy before his murder), Ma$e, (who abandoned the gangsta rap thing to become a pastor), Lil Kim (who seemed to distance herself from Diddy after the jail sentence) Beiber, etc. And considering everyone who was working with him either left or wanted to, it paints a damning picture.
