Actually Mochi, it’s a reboot of Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad, AKA Gridman. Except...based Trigger is already rebooting that. Once again, Trigger does something better than a Netflix cartoon.

Remember Reboot? It was notable for being one of very few cartoons to be LESS censored on Toonami (rather than the nightmarish standards of ABC Saturday mornings), as well as ending on one hell of a cliffhanger. Once again, Netflix has rebooted a series, but they ignored the cliffhanger, and oh, now it stars a bunch of Canadian teenagers. “It’s gonna blow!” Actual trailer line.

Hiatus will never end. Togashi will eventually work on another few chapters...right after some Dragon Quest.

The fact is we live in an era where anime isn’t nearly as...segregated as it was in 2007-2010 when Bleach was the only thing keeping ASA afloat. Now you get your anime in addition too, rather than instead of, other stuff.

It’d be nice if it was Star Blazers 2199, Lord knows the writing and production values blow away everything on the block right now, but the legal hang up is what gives me pause.

Space Battleship Yamato 2199 15. This...needs to air on TV. More people need to know about it. It’s amazing. It’s everything Tumblr claims Voltron is. The production values are sky high. The combat is tense. The score is epic.

Beerus is affable enough, he’s just driven by nature. It’s why everyone sorta puts up with him rather than declares him evil. Kinda like Buu in Super. “He’s all better now...we think.”
