  1. For those of you who have no idea what the hell I’m talking about, Super Robot Wars is a long running series of strategy games in which the representatives of various giant robot anime team up against villains from their own shows and original content. Oftentimes, the writers are credited with making far better stories out of the licensed anime, such as their takes on Fafner and SEED being considered near unanimously better than the actual anime’s. Anyway, the new one, Super Robot Wars T, was just announced, and among the odd announcements is the inclusion of Cowboy Bebop (alongside Magic Knight Rayearth and Captain Harlock as well). The games are unfortunately a licensing nightmare to release locally but they do have English translations on the disc. This also marks the first new Bebop content in possibly decades. But if you don’t mind importing, this may be the only franchise on the planet where you can see Spike team up with Captain Harlock and the cast of Mobile Suit Gundam.
  2. Funny enough, Alternative is considered the one genuinely good thing to come out of SAO. Figures.
  3. https://www.criticalhit.net/entertainment/hit-manga-series-dr-stone-is-finally-getting-an-anime-adaptation/ Never read it.
  4. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-11-16/sailor-moon-stage-show-gets-performances-in-new-york-washington-d.c/.139592 Sure, why not? Don’t know who’s gonna go, but sure.
  5. Probably nothing. I mean you can still get HIDIVE ala carte.
  6. Boomerang is what this hispter burger joint puts on in the background presumably to scare off dudebros wanting to watch a basketball game.
  7. Adam Sandler 100% Fresh. Honest to God this is the funniest thing Sandler has made in YEARS.
  8. True, but for those who don’t want to juggle 50 subscriptions for every little thing, Toonami could strike while the iron is hot. Or they could get Goblin Slayer and Gridman next year when the community has moved onto the inevitable adaptations of Dr. Stone and Trigger’s Kamen Rider Spirits adaptation.
  9. This is friggin surreal. It doesn’t help that I hear Reynolds and just think Deadpool.
  10. If you liked The Raid but felt it needed more brutal action, it’s a must watch.
  11. Gridman and Goblin Slayer alone ensure I have to subscribe. There’s fun stuff in VRV, but it’s gonna be a tough sell once the two free months are up.
  12. Guess that means I need to spring for FUNiNow. Excuse me while I groan at the thought of paying the 1 year fee.
  13. https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2018-11-08/netflix-reveals-3-anime-works-by-japanese-studios-pacific-rim-animated-show/.139210 The Pacific Rim franchise lives.
  14. Been marathoning the hell out of my boxset of Batman the Animated series. The show still holds up amazingly.
  15. You say that like poor Al Roker doesn’t do that with anything made later than Peanuts.
  16. Canadians have a Thanksgiving too you know, and it’s not about the same events. You’re all goddamn killjoys.
  17. Curious. I went out of my way to make a custom pasta dish after watching Goodfellas. Don’t think I need a friggin steak with it though, said pasta sauce is using plenty of meat.
  18. I'm trying to remember the last time this happened. Of course like a jackass I waited for the dub started before tackling it. (First two episodes are up).
  19. Goblin Slayer 1-2 SSSS Gridman 5.
  20. As much as I wanted Franxx to be great, I can say for sure I’m enjoying Gridman WAY more. For starters, Gridman has Samurai Calibur, who is a much better character than most of the Franxx kids.
  21. Just mention FighterZ. Video game that handed Marvel vs Capcom its lunch money. That being said, bring on confused as hell Al Roker!
