Bullshit it is. Panty and Stocking is a deliberate criticism of Japanese purity culture filtered through stuff like Ren & Stimpy and Invader Zim. One episode is a full on homage to “Zim eats Waffles.” Then again, it has a lot of male on female sex, so that’s probably why Mochi dislikes it.

Crossbone is the white whale of Gundam, the series that never got a proper adaptation after its manga.

So given how the cosmic scale works, Netflix will likely get Darling in the Franxx and announce they’re co-funding a Crossbone Gundam Series.

That's my point. Netflix can air their anime next to stuff like The Punisher to raise its profile in a way Toonami simply can't.

Yeah, Netflix can't but the Toonami coproductions which is why they seemed to have shelled out a shitload to make their own. And sorry, FLCL 2 doesn't compare to Godzilla.
