  1. http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2017-07-21/one-piece-manga-gets-live-action-hollywood-tv-show/.119132 WHY?!
  2. More that he constantly reuses the same ones. Ever see the art for Dragon Warrior/Dragon Quest?
  3. Technically 16 million, plus the millions... AND MILLIONS... Of The Rock's fans people who saw it over the week via Go and Now following HBO's servers CRASHING.
  4. Twitter seems proof Toonami is not the be-all/end-all of popularity. There are a ton of Brazilian and Spanish tweets about certain episodes, particularly Eren fighting the Armored Titan with Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
  5. Toriyama has that issue where he can only draw a certain amount of faces and reuses them constantly.
  6. Apparently everything is down, and Toonami is a symptom.
  7. Adult Swim needs to show this eventually.
  8. Shit premise. It should have more in common with OPM at least as a subversive story. I pictured the kid being the universe's Marshall Law, someone who hates and hunts "heroes". But no, that would be interesting.
  9. Hey at least he didn't suggest Diet OPM. (Academia. God I hate that show).
  10. Steven Universe is such a dumpster fire and their fans are an infection that try to ruin other shows.
  11. Blame Vince. https://www.cagesideseats.com/wwe/2017/7/16/15978256/talking-smack-cancelled-vince-mcmahon-unhappy-wwe-smackdown
  12. Anime was a mistake.
  13. My point is that Toonami's softer ratings cannot be viewed in a vacuum.
  14. Unless Toonami starts getting the rights to show MLB games during the summer the ratings will continue to be soft. It's television all around.
  15. Even Family Guy's ratings have begun to cool. So it's lower all around l
  16. I would contend that's entirely the reason. Imagine airing Season 5 of Samurai Jack in Japan. Same thing happens.
  17. Zeni's in the thread, so dumpster fire?
  18. There was a UFC that weekend too. Look, it's a different economy. Online kills.
  19. This technically belongs in Cartoons, despite Adi Shankar's best efforts.
  20. It's also not an action show, at least not in the conventional sense, but I enjoyed it a lot more, while Academia made me want more One Punch Man.
  21. At least we can be sure Academia won't show. Phew.
  22. It was a rerun against a Manny Pacquiao fight on ESPN so Top Rank can launch a monthly boxing series on basic cable. Of course the rerun was gonna lose.
  23. Actually that the original said everything it needed to say, had no open plot threads, and resolved every single character arc.
