This is the second most disgusting thing I’ve seen this week, but first was Leaving Neverland. It’s evil.

https://variety.com/2019/biz/news/warnermedia-shakeup-bob-greenblatt-hbo-turner-cnn-1203154109/ Basicslly as part of the AT&T merger with Warner, their linear networks are all undergoing restructuring and management changes to promote efficiency. What this means for our pals Jason DeMarco and Mike Lazzo is anyone’s guess.

My Hero Acadamia CD Drama causes rape/homophobia controversy
Jman replied to mochi's topic in Toonami & [adult swim]
One line that was a meme. He wasn’t actually racist. I mean the game is shit, but Deku isn’t portrayed as racist. -

ComicBook.com also thought the racist Deku meme was serious. Fuck em. -
That’s a good idea in general.

I’m still annoyed I was busy and they only had a Tuesday showing. Please don’t let this take a year to release like Mazinger Z Infinity.
-
Funny enough, I heard we should be getting more information on it next month. I know Crunchyroll has stepped up its original productions (say it with me everyone, adapt Cannon God Exaxxion). Whether this was a pilot they pulled in response to a hurricane of bad publicity or it's just their way to go "Look how progressive we are!" while airing Shield Hero and its ilk is unknown to me.
-
The fact that they pivoted so hard into Shield Hero is kind of hilarious. I haven’t seen the show, but I cannot help but have a sadistic admiration for that level of shamelessness.
-
Capitalism my friend. It’s no different from Fox bringing back Last Man Standing. Honestly, the whole thing feels like Crunchyroll trying to tell people they won’t be stereotypically “woke” after the complete disaster that was the unveiling of High Guardian Spice.

Toonami has decided to stop airing promo's for boruto and MHA

“Why are people watching Netflix? No I’m not jealous! FLCL sequels were a great idea!” - Jason DeMarco. I have no opinion on the topicals, but is there sufficient shoe hype? -
UC did much better on YouTube and Netflix apparently. But I cannot get there for that weird Tuesday airing. I mean come on, why Tuesday?

Tiger Mask W 33-36. Finally put New Japan Pro Wrestling’s gloriously awesome and silly advertisement to rest. Armored Trooper VOTOMS 1.

Tiger Mask W 27-32.

Or they watched it elsewhere. Netflix keeps recommending Gun Gale Online, aka the Good One.

More proof people are really, really dumb.

EA Games. Ruin everything. What’s the point of a Titanfall spinoff without the bigass robots?

Given the situation, the conclusion that his chosen industry has made is to boot him from productions and not let him in conventions. I think that’s fair all things considered for being a creep. And when it comes down to it, the wrongs of ANN being a bunch of self righteous idiots who can’t keep their house in order but whine about Shield Hero doesn’t excuse Vic. They’re separate.
-
Vic is a skeevy dude, and well, hasn’t this been an open secret for years now? It’s just no one wanted to really say anything until now. Granted, I view ANN roughly the same way I view a lot of video game “journalists”, but when your co-workers as well as fans all go in on you, and your primary defense is a fan club run by your own mother...I’m sorry, but the evidence seems to support to accusers a lot more. I’m inclined to believe the people who have come forward, the industry insiders, and everyone else over the fan club.

It clearly isn’t working. I’m not surprised RT moved first. Once they made gen:Lock with all those A-list actors (Michael B. Jordan, Dakota Fanning, and David Tenant) their level of scrutiny was going to increased a hundred fold. Then the green light was there, and so many VA’s have horror stories about this dude, so it didn’t take a lot of pushing.
