  1. Let's do a comparison between it and a recent Japanese mecha show that also uses 3D -
  2. And it still uses the mecha more than Voltron Legendary Defender did.
  3. https://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2021/07/26-1/black-lagoon-manga-creator-comments-on-serialization-my-depression-hasnt-gone-away?utm_source=community_cr&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=news_en&referrer=community_cr_twitter_news Chronic depression fucking sucks. Fuck, depression and anxiety suck. Especially in societies where mental health is often ignored or stigmatized.
  4. https://variety.com/2021/tv/news/pokemon-netflix-series-live-action-joe-henderson-1235026390/amp/?__twitter_impression=true Pika. I’m not sure how to respond to this, so here’s a dancing Pikachu.
  5. Companies try lots of weird stuff when they’re getting started.
  6. I’m not surprised they’re all non-canon stories, but I really wanted someone to finally animate the final duel between Boba Fett and Cad Bane. All we have is the incomplete animatic.
  7. Preview is up and dub is official.
  8. They’re using a new studio, but they seem to be keeping the visuals consistent despite that.
  9. Alright, let’s be serious. Kevin Smith pushed back heavily on the “He-Man is sidelined” rumors, but the first part of the series is Teela’s story, and He-Man is more or less a background figure because of what happened in the first episode. Granted, there’s a second half of the series left, but everyone’s made up their minds already that Smith was lying. And Ben made the hair crack.
  10. AAA voice talent and C- animation reunite again for a show that thanks to Toonami survived a metric ton of controversy. Can it become the big hit Rooster Teeth wants or is it destined to join other failed American attempts at mecha?
  11. Admittedly the main reason I made this topic was because of the voice cast. But with everything having gone to hell, it might be worth just ignoring this.
  12. I’m not the one saying this. Hell, I avoided even talking about the rumors until they became the only thing people are discussing with this show. I haven’t seen something this heavily targeted by right wing Youtube channels since Captain Marvel.
  13. People feel baited apparently (this according to the reaction from Heman.org, a big He-Man fansite), not helped by rumors that have dogged the production from Day 1 that said this thing was going to be as woke as possible, ending with He-Man being dismissed as a loser and the main female Teela and her girlfriend being the new main heroes. Couple that with Teela's Rhea Ripley hair, and everyone assumed the rumors were true and Kevin Smith was full of shit (since he has repeatedly said the rumors were not true).
  14. 94% Critic Score on Rotten Tomatoes to 32% audience score. It's Last Jedi all over again.
  15. We all laughed and now he’s going “Who’s laughing now?”
  16. No Harrison Ford though, obviously.
  17. I swear, Toriyama's work is like...the one art style where 3DCG actually works. FighterZ, the Kakarot game, and now this.
  18. “Outlaw mudshow One Piece knockoff!”
  19. I’m sorry, they announced Fena during AEW?
  20. It’s brand new. That’s a good sign as it is.
  21. Don't suppose DeMarco's interested.
  22. "Fine! We'll start our own One Piece! With blackjack! And hookers!" "On second thought, forget the One Piece!"
  23. Parts of Invincible's story literally occur in Spider-Man Team Up and The Tick. At least OP is properly numbered.
