They dragged it out for another episode!

Yeah when I say "It's not like Tokyo Ghoul" I'm not referring to genre, I'm referring to it not being a complete disaster like Tokyo Ghoul. They're both made by Studio Pierrot which is now famous for bad adaptations and over stuffing shows with generally bad filler. Like the entire second season of Toyko Ghoul which will likely be completely ignored by S3 of the anime. Yeah well I've met people who think the movie recap arcs of Dragonball Super are amazing. I like plenty of shows that are considered trash, but I'm willing to admit that they're trash. You won't see me defend Killing Bites as a good anime but I enjoy it every week.

I watched the first few eps, which are supposed to be the worst of what the show has to offer according to people that have seen it all and.... it was watchable. I might watch more eventually. It wasn't like Tokyo Ghoul or anything. The reason this show got so much hatred was that the appetite for another Shonen like this just wasn't there. It needed to do something different to establish itself from the other long runners that have thousands of episodes between them, and it really didn't. It also debuted after MHA, which is an infinitely better anime. It's kind of like if you had made a decent time travel themed anime a year after Stein's gate. It may have been decent, but it will be forever be torn apart as that shitty inferior version of Stein's Gate that no one wanted. This is similar to what happened with Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, which will always be considered an inferior AOT knockoff. Basically.... if this had come out in the 90's it would have been hailed as a great anime. Oh and the Japanese VA for Asta really poisoned the well on this one.

Funimation got it? Praise the Sun! How this thing got held up in development dub hell for 2 years I don't know. But this is going to be like printing money for them.

Nope, SS3 Gotenks is actually stronger and roughly equal with Super Buu. Buutenks is way stronger than SS3 Goku, he has no chance.

8 episodes in... and another fluff episode. Also to continue the sex metaphors the mechs all got ejaculated on while the girls commented how "Gross and Sticky" it was even though they noticed it didn't hurt. "How dare you spew this disgusting gunk all over us!" And of course the girls clothing got dissolved because anime. Ok so serious question. Does anyone still think this anime is good? I mean it's not boring and I still intend on watching all of it, but at this point..... it's not good.

I've seen good filler before. But just like the animation it doesn't seem like TOEI could be bothered to even try. The funny thing is.. they SHOULD be good at filler. They did assloads of filler for One Piece. You'd think they'd have a knack for it by now. Basically the pattern Super seems to follow... is one good episode... which is then followed by about 5 horrifyingly bad episodes.

People just don't like Dandy much do they? What is it? Too Zany? Too inconsistent? Not funny enough for a comedy and not enough action for a space show?

Obviously filler Naruto > best arc of HxH.

Wow Kai did good this week. That makes a huge difference for the block when your second show isn't bleeding over 20 percent of your viewers. BC of course sucked a fat one right after that. 78 percent.

Yeah but remember episode 1? They were screwed without Zero Two using Strelizia to save their asses. So how are 6 - 10 mostly useless kids supposed to be the only defense for an entire city? It would be one thing if they were all badasses but aside from Strelizia they're pretty useless. What if one of the mechs got destroyed? They'd lose like a quarter of their fighting force with one loss. Why did the creator decide on the ridiculous pacific rim dual piloting nonsense? It's caused nothing but problems so far with them having to stay in sync to pilot their mechs. Oh and they use a wacky power source that just happens to attract Klaxosaurs. When your entire race is being wiped out because of this, maybe it's time to start looking for another power source? Basically nothing makes any sense and we know almost nothing about this world and their battle vs the klaxosaurs after 7 episodes, and they're dicking around with a beach ep. I'm expecting some plot twists at some point. The guys ruling over the cities are almost certainly evil.

Is the only line of defense for the entire city 6 sheltered kids who can barely pilot their Franxx?

Supposedly that was always the case. But Gogeta was non cannon, then became canon in GT, then became non canon when Super came around.

We'll be together forever! You know these characters are gonna start dying soon. 7 episodes in and I'm still not sure what all the fuss was about for this anime.

According to the non canon movie Fusion Reborn, Goku was literally doing this before this episode
