  1. So what happened, Elfie got mad at someone and quit the site after pissing off the site owner?
  2. Yeah it's literally the only good part of Super. It has an ungodly amount of episodes in that arc before it gets to the good stuff. There's like 20 episodes devoted to Goku building his team for the Tourney.
  3. Whoa 1.1 mil for Super? 900 k for Kai?? Good retention for Kai? What the heckkkk
  4. Boing http://www.crunchyroll.com/anime-news/2018/06/19-1/kotobukiya-previews-darling-in-the-franxx-main-heroine-zero-two-figure-in-video-and-photos So anyway... I'm calling coma.... then saved by the power of love. Any other theories? Oh and I forgot.....since her horns broke, maybe she becomes human. That was her greatest wish and what they told her would happen if she killed all the Klaxxosaurs.
  5. You''re as bad as Elfie at not getting sarcasm =P
  6. I find it very hard to believe that he watches much anime to be honest. He seems like a guy who watched anime 20 years ago and remembers it fondly more than a current anime fan. Toonamites should be testy over this one, at least the critically reviled BC is a generic shonen that fills the role of being a shonen. For PTE the only real comparison I can think of would be Super Milk Chan if Super Milk Chan was the same 15 minute episode played twice in a row with different voices. We're in territory where airing School Days or Dragonball GT would be a legitimate upgrade in quality.
  7. Hey just think.... instead of this they could have gone and done something stupid and gotten RE Zero.
  8. It's pretty similar but it was done much better in those two anime. This really came out of the blue. I'm not sure you need to use spoilers in this thread since we just kind of assume you're up to date when posting here.
  9. Hmm that felt kind of like a final episode. How many episodes is this getting again?
  10. She's the only good character the show has, she didn't have much competition. It's almost like they purposely made the other characters forgettable so she'd stand out and get tons of attention.

    Trinity Blood

We all know that Blood C is the superior title with blood in the name.
  12. If you haven't noticed the people that run Toonami are idiots. So how did everyone like the horrible ending to this long and pointless arc? After seeing this, it's hard to believe Super will actually get good later on isn't it?
  13. Ha I said that in another thread, in terms of quality it's similar as well.
  14. Natsu and Goku anyone?
  15. You could have named just about any show.
  16. Nope has to be a person/human with augmentations. in stories : a person whose body contains mechanical or electrical devices and whose abilities are greater than the abilities of normal humans Definition of cyborg : a bionic human Medical Definition of cyborg : a bionic human I mean I was a kid, I assumed parsec was used accurately. It's like when people in movies say "Human beings only use 13 percent of their brains" you just ASSUME they know what the hell they're talking about. But it's 100 percent fiction.
  17. It's more like ATHF except instead of ridiculous plots, there's no plots. Instead of non sequitur's at the end of an episode you have one every 2 minutes. The second half of the first episode is just the first 15 minutes replayed with different voices. This is apparently humorous. I think every episode does the same thing but I'm not sure. The main question you need to ask yourself... do you like jokes that don't have a punchline? If you do, then you will like this show. Getting through just one full episode was rough.
  18. Hey a lot of people like HxH for some reason. I never denied that. Some people don't like Stein's Gate. Though to be fair, Shonen tend to be over ranked on MAL due to having huge fan bases that tend to swarm vote. Which is why I always assumed Gintama scored so high unless it's actually the best anime ever and I just haven't seen it yet.
  19. The Terminator thing I can excuse because the author likely didn't realize that putting human skin around an android doesn't make it a cyborg. He probably just thought any mix of robot and flesh was a cyborg. C3PO said his JOB was human-cyborg relations. Not that he was a cyborg. I mean, they're called droids 100x in the movies. Short for androids. Except R2D2 is called a droid, and he's not an android. Just a robot. Keep in mind George Lucas thought a Parsec was a measure of time and not distance... so he clearly didn't do much homework when he wrote this stuff. In the pre internet days looking stuff like this up was pretty annoying.
  20. The entire joke of the show is kind of like "HAH you thought we were gonna be funny but we aren't!" This might be the show that gets the Wulin warriors treatment.
  21. See, this is where Mal comes in handy to figure out if people are actually into this or not. Rank 2150 Popularity 871 Compare it to another show I use as a benchmark for bad shows... Dimension W Rank 2371 Popularity 430 Conclusion? It's not critically well received and it's not popular at all. Also, you're airing a show that's drastically less popular than Dimension W, which wasn't very popular.
  22. Yes I did indeed hate the show. I was expecting... comedy I guess? They have brief skits of Chrono trigger and Skyrim in the first episode and then don't do anything funny with it. Being random isn't the same as being funny. And the second half of the show is just the first half replayed over with different voices? Is the joke of the show that it's not supposed to be funny? Never dropped a show that fast in my life. I even gave BC 4 episodes before dropping it, and that was with the super annoying subs.
  23. Ok not to be mean... but this show is bad. Really bad. Almost dropped it after half an episode. Forced myself to finish the episode then dropped it. This is another Black Clover level fuck up.
  24. He was kind of retconned into being a Biotech android like 17 and 18, as opposed to Mechanical like 16 and 19. Basically a lot of the confusion stems from the fact that Toriyama is kind of an idiot and had no idea what an android or cyborg was. His wiki page lists him as both. Biotechnological Type Androids: "modified humans" and "cyborgs", androids made from an original organic (usually a human) as a base (such as #8 (according to some guides), #13 (according to a game), #17, #18 and #20). Since they are human-based, they can become stronger if they train. Despite being referred to as "Androids", other than #20 they possess little to no robotic parts and the alterations to their being are simply a result of their organic matter being reconstructed.[2] Though they do not need to eat, they do need to hydrate. Also, their cells deteriorate slowly, so they age slowly too.[3] Mechanical Type Androids: "total artificial construct types", "robots" or "mecha-types"[4], androids which were made up completely from mechanical parts (such as Major Metallitron, #8 (according to Akira Toriyama), #13 (according to a guidebook), #14, #15, #16 and #19). For some reason, the totally artificial ones have a blood-like liquid crimson substance, presumably a kind of power oil. Bio-Androids, androids constructed either through biological engineering or as clones spawned from other bio-androids rather than from machine parts and/or a human base (Cell and the Cell Juniors).
