King of the Hill on Comedy Central

As successful of a business man Trump is, I don't know why his handshake would be limp. But then again the real world GWB probably didn't have a limp handshake either (it would be hard to get anywhere in politics with one... then on the other hand, he did have an "in" with his dad... eh). -
He has a Scottish accent... Though I guess you don't have to be white to be born in Scottland... nvm

I would be ok with more Tender Touches if they get all their voice actors to record actually live with them instead of that woman that must've recorded her lines over the fucking phone or something so god damn retarded. It looked like it was probably some art/film school student's final project, but didn't they know ANY other woman at all that could've played that part? Put on ad on craigslist, "Hey looking for a woman to voice a character on a cartoon, will pay in pizza and beer"? Not one single woman that could've recorded her lines actually with them was available? -

Really Luanne and Lucky were absent through a good deal of the show, so I think they could get away with writing them out by having them move to another state or something. -
How much of this is common knowledge to the people here I don't know, so forgive me if this is old news... But I just checked out TTG's ratings on wikipedia and they have really sunk starting about half way through last season and is so far continuing into the current season. Maybe those at TTG are figuring it might be canceled soon and they want to try to resurrect the original Teen Titans for the rabid fanbase that hated TTG for being so different from the original. Maybe this bargaining chip is a way to gauge how popular a revival of the old show might be. Especially if the movie does well, in part because of this bargaining, but the series continues it's downward trajectory, they'll probably really be considering bringing back the old show. EDIT: After checking again the downward trajectory basically started at the end of last season rather than halfway, which makes my above statement maybe less likely, but still possible, I think. EDIT 2: Looking at it yet again, the decline did really start around halfway last season, but fell even considerably worse at the end of said season.

Good points. I just want to say though, that Futurama I think started off pretty mediocre, but by the time of it's first cancelation on Fox it had become downright brilliant. Mission Hill was cool too. Back in the day AS had a wealth of shows that got canceled way too soon. They even created a couple of their own in Moral Orel and Stroker and Hoop. -

You'd be better off aspiring to be George Costanza. -

That's not stupid enough for Eric Andre. You'd have to wear that on your head AND act like a tool. God I hate that show. Good public "pranks" illicit a shocked reaction out of the prankee. I can't imagine literally anything Eric Andre does in his public stunts illiciting any reactions other than a passive, "What the fuck is this idiot doing?" -

Hank sticks by Buck because Buck gave him purpose in life (to sell propane). I don't know what Hank would perceive Trump has done for him. But hard core conservatives do massively bend their morals to support Trump, so eh. Does Trump like the Patriots? I have no idea where he's from, or if he said that. If he did say that, I'm sure it was for one of two reasons: 1) They've been at the top of the heap for what, a couple decades now? And he's bandwagoning, or 2) he just likes to say he's a "patriots" fan to play up his "America is broken and I am going to be the patriot to fix it" image. If he actually is from New England, than I apologize. Now, having said all THAT, I don't know if there's any rivalry between the Patriots and the Cowboys that would make Hank care about that considerably. They don't share the same market, and are not in the same division.... But as a 90s 49er fan I'll always hate the Cowboys, so I know sports rivalries are not always created by home markets and divisions. -

Hank had a "man crush" on George W. Bush until he gave him a limp handshake. He basically refused to vote for him after that, but he also gave no indication he was voting democrat. -

What do you call that penis shaped thing in there? Serious question, since you're in the adult biz, I'm deferring to your knowledge, and I guess the kind of "dildo" that gets stuck on a wall has a different name? -

I'm pretty sure his appreciation of Carter begins and ends with how he got Hank and Cotton to resolve their differences that one Christmas. Speaking of Cotton, now HE'D be a hardcore Trumper. Of course he's dead though. -

It went from 2009 to 2013 on Comedy Central. Not a bad run. Definitely could have done better, though. On the whole, Comedy Central's brand of comedy is probably too "edgy" for Futurama to have really been a fit. So the true would probably be the same for King of the Hill, now that you make me think about it. I haven't heard anything about it being on SyFy -

I see your point in the Flanderization of the characters (lol I just learned this term a night or two ago), but I thought the series was still really good til the end. -

Adult Swim got Futurama the interest it needed to be revived, but Comedy Central did the rest. Your second point is a fair one. I think it would be great for Mike Judge to come back to animation. And not Beavis and Butthead again. -
So for those who don't know, Adult Swim recently lost King of the Hill, and Comedy Central grabbed it up. I first heard of this probably a couple or so weeks ago, but it wasn't until this morning that this occurred to me: Think Comedy Central will resurrect King of the Hill like they did Futurama? There was a thread posted here some time ago that contained a link to an article where Mike Judge expressed interest in reviving it.
