same here. it's lovely. cooked a couple 'roasts' in the crock pot. got some more plants planted, seeds sewn, planters painted. i have some lovely little bits that are growing quite nice, and i just found 2 huge drums to 'transfer' them to.

do you want to go shopping? or pick from your closet? if the first, i would get something long skirt wise, comfortable flats, and a simple short sleeve 'flowy' but not too revealing. something with a swoop neck, to wear a pretty camosole underneath. if the second, show us what you got.

look, i get it. temp agencies are the worst. i did a gig at a hertz equipment. the assignment was 2 weeks. i knew saying anything wouldn't matter to the agency. but, there i was. putting up with some jenkie assholes. running me around doing all the shit work. and racists to boot. the 2 weeks were up, and the company wanted me for another month. i told the agency they were racist pricks, so no thanks. but, i did that fucking gig. sometimes, you got to do, what you got to do.

well, at the very least, can you say something to the temp agency?

this is 'pinnable' material ~ a mod should make this happen. @garbagepailcat all the good vibes going out to you. i always thought working at a library would be, just the best gig to have.

it's just easier to go to direct sites for me. i was so disappointed my last trip to joanne's. yarn section all but gone. and everything was so 'tight' in there. i hate the feeling of not being able to turn around without hitting something. and people. people make shopping in stores the worst.

i loathe hobby lobby. and honestly, i thought they were way overpriced. i adore michael's, but the closest one is over an hour away. i usually buy on line. from time to time i'll pick up skeins of 'caron' at evil~mart.

it felt really good. that box was jammed pack. my cousin is constantly sending me stuff. admittedly, she sent a lot of the 'pom pom' yarn. i really just couldn't find any projects i could use it. luckily my friend has 3 young ladies i'm sure will be able to find plenty of things to do with it. she started sending 'scrap book' supplies i haven't even gotten into yet. but, i mean...paper, pens, books. omg yes.

finally went through some yarn that i haven't touched in years. mostly funky, #5 with pom~poms, or fur yarn. lots of yarn balls. and yarn i just couldn't. have a friend that found out her heart surgery and all the stuff that goes along with it isn't working out. she has a few years left, and wants to teach her grand babies how to crochet. i like that i inspired someone to do yarn witch craft. was it the spring cleaning i was hoping for. pffft. yeah right.
