Gundam's fallen out of favor heavily since the early 2000s. The only people who watch the old shows nowadays are young anime afficionados, who are curious as to what made it so popular in Japan, and the fans who were busy watching B.S. and are just catching up to speed. 05/06 it was obvious that Bandai was never dubbing ZZ Gundam, they couldn't even get CN to buy Zeta. Zeta only got dubbed on the heels of Gundam's popularity, it's clear these idiots at Toonami only want newer animation and will only play something dated premillenium if it's one of their favorites. They're just followers, not leaders I just finished rewatching Unicorn on demand today and I still think it makes the rest of the series that Toonami plays look like crap. But because crap like Hunter, Black Clover, Naruto, and Super are popular, crap is what'll keep being shown. IBO is crap and they'll pick up this garbage new season just because it looks nice.
