I suppose you're not wrong. 2M viewers came in during an episode on Namek. However, I don't think Super will take over 11, at least for right now. The episode would air at the same time as the premiere on the west coast. And in general, it's not a good idea to move up something that isn't holding over well from the previous. Even if not much would retain well from Samurai Jack, but I think we can imagine how things would turn out.

Apparently, they got a two-season renewal and are working on all those episodes at the same time. So yeah, except five years might actually be a generous estimate.

Well, they already announced Lupin, which is coming two weeks later. If they had something to replace Jack, or really any update on the 11:00 slot at all, it would have been said prior to this, or maybe on tonight's episode of Pre-Flight. Because doing otherwise is just shitty scheduling all around. I'd rather have no show up there than a Jack rerun, but that's purely a personal opinion and it would be wrong to go after Jason about it. :420:

From what I've heard, some of the VAs for the Gundam show have already finished recording their lines. So that one should be ready to go whenever someone wants it. I'm actually edging towards the second season of IBO not airing on Toonami, at least for a while. Perhaps it could go to FunimationNow?

It's very much based on fearmongering. Personally, if this is indeed true, I think it has to do with S5 of Jack doing well, but not affecting the rest of the Toonami lineup, but it's doing good already. It wouldn't be planned if it was like AoT where the show was bringing tons of viewers into the block for new episodes.

I'd rather them just lose 11:00 than having to rerun Jack, but I suppose this is better than nothing. And I couldn't care less out of the whole planet if it tanks in the ratings.

But wouldn't it be better to just get some more damn sleep on those nights? Also, I was once away from home on an Independance Day weekend where they marathoned the Hunter show. So good tidings to you whenever a similar situation arises.

Good ratings. However, any chance of more Gundam on Toonami sans IBO Season 2 is all but dead.

I probably would if I owned a copy. Last I checked, Best Buy was selling it for pretty damn cheap... around $10.

Let's see... High School of the Dead #3, all of the Toonami shows from last week plus an encore of HxH #49, and a whole bunch of Yes albums.

They are definitely not going to take a break on HxH because of something as arbitrary as a milestone in the episode count. And it would probably only make people think the show is gone for good.

I don't think you've watched enough bad anime for that to qualify. But hooray, Jack marathon! Hooray hooray. Let's see how little I care about the ratings for that one.
