Glad to hear it, I know Ben said he'd be interested in here I think. I talked to animation fan and there were some others that messaged me as well. I'll see if we can at least get 5 to start with so that I get a good test size to see how the chat rooms function. Hopefully, more people will see this and climb aboard. I'll probably make a discord for this topic specifically tomorrow and invite whoever is interested to start with. We can probably make an ongoing discussion thread here after viewing but probably should wait at first to see if its going to pan out fully. Anyways, if for whatever reason I can't work it in (which as far as I can tell it should be happening), then I'll leave a message here explaining the delay. It deffinitely won't be on earlier than 8 though. I kind of lined it up that way so those that showed up a bit before Toonami could join if they were interested. We will see how it goes. If anyone has any suggestions about anything at all, let me know here or elsewhere. I won't bite.... well too hard.

I'm thinking of attempting to try out a first viewing tomorrow at some point. If there is anyone else interested let me know. I'm planning on probably trying to get it together around 8 central time 9 eastern which as I understand it is 1 hour before toonami (or at least it has been when I've watched recently). So there would be a few episodes played there with a possible group discussion. I also need to test it out to see if it'll be a good enough format with some people. As I have not used Rabb.it very much and need to set up a discord probably as a chat room for those watching. Let me know if there are any more interested in trying it out tomorrow evening!

The Dub was made almost entirely subscriber only after Funi made that non-competition deal with Crunchy Roll last year. So I am planning on playing it at a set time probably 3 or 4 episodes at a time depending on if people want to skip the recaps at the beginning or not, since I know alot of people here probably don't have access to FuniNow. Plus my hope is to get more of a discussion in a group going since I love this show alot and I've been rewatching it in the dub form for the past few weeks for the first time (first time for the dub), so I'd like to continue viewing with people that would also like to see it if possible. It may just be me personally but I feel following along as a group is much easier and steady if it is done at a set time as a weekly viewing or something.

Why are 1/3rd of all threads on this forum about racism or homophobia? Like jesus christ it's a problem but talk about other shit once in a while, we have so many of these fucking threads right now do we really need another thread about random white girls acting like trashy spoiled sluts? In all fairness, the other 2/3rds revolve mostly around interpersonal board drama and internet feuds and weeb meme posts. (I'm not talking about the anime forum cause it definitely is not as active as the other two and they are inherently talking about things that are not related to any of the aforementioned).

I agree with you that most of the American electorate is not very educated when it comes to a variety of important political topics and the workings of our government. I honestly blame the way Highschool and Early College curriculums tend to be laid out. History, Civics, Biology, and Physical Science classes should be required in larger bulk rather than classes that benefit a very specific set of career fields. This is to say we don't need to have kids taking 2 semesters of foreign languages as a basic requirement for graduating, or 2 art appreciate classes when they are basically allowed to pick and choose between having more than one or any biology OR physical science. We need less emphasis on things like electives and more on requirements for better education on History and Civics. I do not think kids need to take more than basic math unless they have interest in that field or even high sciences like physics. But I seriously question the priorities of education when we force kids to take Art and Spanish or German over things that will actually aid them in making responsible informed decisions in adult life.
