Have you seen those pampered happy moomoos? There are few things cuter than a Wagyu... Both before and after the dinner plate I might add. *drools in technicolor*

Oh boy they are getting to some of the better earlier episodes.

Ideally, that is how it should be, but as a matter of practicality in the face of exponentially increasing human population unrealistic for everyone. And since meat is the primary source of protein in the human diet and a very important one some kind of mass farming would currently be necessary. I think we can probably do better in how we implement animal farming, the conditions and treatment of livestock in general.

It's bad enough getting a burger from a cow that was probably kept in a cage almost it's entire life and pumped full of antibiotics to prevent plague due to those conditions. I can see your point.

That's only western society, you go to other areas of the globe and they have no qualms about eating just about anything that moves too long in front of them. That is what necessity combined with hunger will do to a rather frivolous concern such as this one.

It's only political because it's a philosophical debate arising from the modern moral equivocation of animals to humans as a species. Let us go through another ice age in the next 100 years, these sentiments will evaporate rather quickly I think.

Yes, I know the mentality around survival as compared to the thousands of years of human evolution has really become rather pussified in the last few decades. There's nothing wrong with that sentiment as long as you're not advocating it as societal level change for others, imo. I personally would have no problems raising and killing my own animals if I could afford to do so. I actually think it is the more respectful form of meat eating. There has really been a major loss of primal connection in the last 100 years in the course of technological advancement and human convenience.

It depends on how tasty it is, especially compared to meat from a full organism.

Jesus Christ, that is terrifying... Jordan Peele is not right in the head tbh. -
Me too.

The public school system tends to be bad at it's intended purpose in most places. I hope he will have some other outlet for socializing with kids his own age though. For me, it was more of a chance to see how stupid most people are at an early age, and learn how to deal with their deficiencies in a way that would not cause conflict. Trial and error is the best method for human interaction, larger sample sizes tend to make for better results in my experience. -

Also dude... your son doesn't know how good he has it on the video game front. When I was growing up my parents barely let me have an SNES or watch TV. The religious types tend to believe those things are of the devil you know. And of course, around that time the Columbine Massacre happened too, it took me 4 more years just to save money and then convince them to let me buy my own computer after that. Those jackasses ruined it for us kids who already had a hard time convincing our parents to let us play anything. -

I envy you. I wish to have a family someday. It seems unlikely. Perhaps my brother will have kids and then I can just be the Uncle that gets to spoil them occasionally. -
It was mediocre imo, and I am a long time fan of both Marvel comics and their cinematic universe. And the feminism tropes seemed force in, but weren't as prevalent as others "feared" they would be. The main problem I have is Brie Larson is a bad actress (unbelievable as the character she's portraying). I mean I hate to say it but she's just not convincing in this role to me. Add to that Captain Marvel falls into that category of "overpowered" superheroes and you already have a recipe for a bland movie. DCEU did a much better job in casting for their female superhero lead. Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman is probably one of the best portrayals of any superhero in any superhero movie to date. Not to mention the story was more compelling than this. In short, it's not a terrible film, but it's pretty low on the totem pole when compared to recent films and films that are "first" in a series for Marvel. It's not bad on the level of Iron Man 2 or Thor 2, but it's not great on the level of Guardians of the Galaxy or Dr. Strange.

It sounds like he might have a bit of kleptomania going on. But seriously, might want to start putting in some boundaries now lest this continues well past its cuteness. The other thing you might want to ask is, is there a reason he doesn't feel as comfortable in his own bed (psychologically speaking). I don't want to psychoanalyze your son, that's for you but this is probably the right question to think on. -
How have you all been?

Yet another reason to be traumatized by vaginal organs.

Hell has frozen over your abundant knowledge of motor vehicles has finally produced something that made me laugh. Thanks. -
If you're talking about suicidal ideation then yes, I've had that multiple times it's not fun. And if that is what you're talking about you should go seek a professional or at least talk to a friend about it.

Is your son at the age where he crawls in bed between you? -
Is that legitimately something women must avoid? Genital Cleanliness is something especially important to me as an OCD person.

Never thought I'd hear this meme again. Thanks for the nostalgia.

It's not illegal. Morally speaking that depends upon what the relationship is for. If it's just for sex and both parties are aware that is all it is this tends to be the least morally entangling permutation of human romantic relationship. If this is something where one of these people want a long term emotional investment, well that is where things tend to become more complex. It also depends on the individual maturity level of said 21 year old. In my experience I tend to find people under 25 haven't had enough adult experience in life to be fully relatable. The other factor is what your friend is seeking from this person. Are they OK with being the more mature one in the relationship, if that is whereally it leads? Having unrealistic expectations and pressures putting upon someone who is not capable of that level of maturity is where I tend to think possible emotional harm can come into the picture. In short if it's legal age of consent and the above factors are not contraindications then yes there's no moral problem either.
