https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2022/senate/pa/pennsylvania_senate_oz_vs_fetterman-7695.html PA is tightening up a bit as well. Fettermans health is absolutely starting to become a factor in this race. The debate they have scheduled in October is going to be a huge moment. If Fetterman cant make it through the debate then Oz might actually win this thing. Which is crazy, because he is a freaking horrible candidate. -

https://www.realclearpolitics.com/epolls/2022/senate/nv/nevada_senate_laxalt_vs_cortez_masto-7392.html Sure looking like Nevada might flip to the GOP as well. This race was always going to be closer than people might have expected. And with the growing movement of Hispanics away from Democrats its sure looking like Nevada may flip, and if it does then control of the Senate likely flips as well. -
Thanks Gov DeSantis! Not a surprise though. A real underlying problem with the lefts hysteria is that it totally ignores the point that they are being told what is going on before they board a bus or plane. They are doing it voluntarily.

It looks like Ukraine is looking to push their advantage. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/world/huge-explosion-as-pro-russian-officials-hit-by-ukraine-himars-video-shows/ar-AA11UjVI They struck a key government office this morning with HIMARs. Not only is it big that they hit the building, but its also big in that it shows that the UA is advancing much closer to Kherson. Russia is being pushed back on all fronts.

Well, no one ever said these people were smart.

Nice little update to this. They've been rounded up and bused out of Marthas Vineyard. This absolutely is a stunt, and holy hell is it working. The amount of pure range and indignation from the left shows just how well this worked. Claiming that a few hundred people are overwhelming resources, require federal support, and are a humanitarian crisis while at the same time saying theres nothing wrong at all at our border. Its just laughable on its face. And the calls for kidnapping and human trafficking charges? LOL, now that got me rolling. The Left has flat out ignored the crisis at the border and screamed "RACISTTTTT!!!!" at the top of their lungs the second anyone says we need to secure the border. Now they are paying a tiny fraction of a price for their open border policies and are melting town. They have had no problem electing people and enacting policies that led to this crisis because it never directly impacted them. It just impacted those nasty people down in Texas. Now that they are slightly inconvenienced they are shrieking and losing their minds. I hope DeSantis and Abbot pick up the pace on this. You want to be a sanctuary city? Fine. Bus illegals there by the thousands.

It really does look like we may be in the early stages of a complete and total collapse of the Russian army in Ukraine. The speed at which Ukraine is advancing is remarkable. And the Russians are simply abandoning anything and everything in their attempts to flee. You can also tell just how bad things are going for the Russians by the increasing silence from their apologists around the world. Even the most hardcore propagandists within Russia are having a hard time spinning this. There is a long way to go, and who knows what sort of depravity Putin might unleash as he gets further backed into a corner, but it sure looks good for Ukraine right now. We just have to keep up our support and funding of the UA so they can route the Russians.

Royal Family heading to be by Queens side
Master-Debater131 replied to Sawdy's topic in Current Events
So Im watching the procession right now into Westminster Abby and its interesting seeing how this all plays out. All sorts of tradition that the world hasnt really seen in 70 years. Its also interesting seeing the reactions between the family members. Charles and William are pretty clearly grieving and look like they want to be anywhere but there. Harry looks like hes trying to figure out what moves to make on his fantasy football team. -
I think it will be. I saw a stat this morning that teams that didnt play their starting QB in the pre-season went 1-6 this weekend against teams that did. A lot of the Broncos problems were pretty clearly from a lack of practice. Geno will eventually Geno. Seattle is going to suck this year, its just a matter of time. Week 1s also produces a ton of wild results. Things will get back to normal soon enough.

https://news.yahoo.com/ukraine-reclaims-swathes-east-shock-105500641.html Ukraine recaptures more ground as Russia strikes back Ukraine forces said Monday their lightning counter-offensive took back more ground in the past 24 hours, as Russia replied with strikes on some of the recaptured ground. The territorial shifts were one of Russia's biggest reversals since its forces were turned back from Kyiv in the earliest days of the nearly seven months of fighting, yet Moscow signalled it was no closer to agreeing a negotiated peace. "Ukraine has turned the tide in its favour, but the current counter-offensive will not end the war," US think tank Institute for the Study of War tweeted.

https://www.reuters.com/article/ukraine-crisis-russia-offensive-idAFKBN2QC09Y Russian nationalists rage after stunning setback in Ukraine " The swift fall of Izium in Kharkiv province was Russia’s worst military defeat since its troops were forced back from the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in March. As Russian forces abandoned town after town on Saturday, Putin was opening Europe’s largest ferris wheel in a Moscow park, while fireworks lit up the sky over Red Square to celebrate the city’s founding in 1147. In an 11-minute-long voice message posted to the Telegram messaging app, Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, a Putin ally whose troops have been at the forefront of the campaign in Ukraine, dismissed the loss of Izium, a critical supply hub. But he conceded the campaign was not going to plan. “If today or tomorrow changes are not made in the conduct of the special military operation, I will be forced to go to the country’s leadership to explain to them the situation on the ground,” said Kadyrov." Ahhh, now theres a feel good story to start the week if I have ever read one. Russian apologists are running out of excuses for just how poorly they are performing.

It sure looks like there has been a complete route of the Russians in the East. They left all sorts of equipment behind that is further evidence of a complete route. This wasnt an organized retreat to regroup and counterattack. This was "run like hell or we will die".
-
Ive read the same thing. Ukraine put out a ton of propaganda and disinfo making it seem like they were going South when the plan from the start was to go East.

There has been a major breakout by Ukraine today. https://www.cnn.com/2022/09/10/europe/ukraine-kharkiv-advances-intl-hnk/index.html Russian forces are retreating en-masse and Ukraine has retaken the key city of Izyum, It sure looks like Ukraine is about to turn a major flank on the Russians and potentially overrun them everywhere in the East.
