Out of all the mistakes that the Kamala campaign made, one of the biggest has to be the whole "JD is Weird" thing. Not only did it lead her to pick Waltz (another mistake), but its incredibly easy to disprove. JD went on media campaigns, and came out looking like a normal dad. It even continues now with the whole Chubby JD memes. The Left tried to use it to attack him, but JD and the Right embraced it and now its totally taken over. even JD is in on it now. Really have to wonder who it was that decided this was a good line of attack, because they probably should never work in politics again.

Well that was fun! Easily one of the most entertaining SOTUs ever, and it was a good speech to. Trump came out with a clear goal of projecting his ideas to the American people, celebrating whats happened so far, and making the Democrats look completely out of touch. And he nailed all three points. He clearly stated that no matter what he did or said, Democrats would refuse to cheer. And boy did they prove him right. From the hilarious antics of Old Man Green imitating Abe Simpson yelling at clouds, to refusing to cheer for a 95 year old woman getting her son home from being a Russian hostage, to the West Point bit, and even to the kid with cancer. They just sat there like petulant children who arent getting their way. Its truly something watching a party become so consumed with hate that all they can do is sneer at extremely heartwarming moments. Refusing to cheer for a survivor of childhood cancer sure is a choice. Democrats have completely lost the plot, and it showed again last night. Trumps speech was viewed very positively according to CNN and CBS instant polls. Large majorities said it was Presidential, Entertaining, Inspiring, and Unifying. It made most people Hopeful and Proud as well. It was, by all accounts, a very good speech. Unless your a Democrat. But even then, their own antics are going to shoot down any chance at going after some obvious weak points in the speech. Trump just keeps on winning. Democrats better have a serious course correction soon or they may wind up even further in the political wilderness than they already are.

Since you asked so nicely. This has easily been the greatest 3 week start to a Presidency in my lifetime. This is what everyone hoped Trump would do his first term. He wasnt prepared then, he is now. Really, we should be thanking Democrats for winning in 2020 and then going the full lawfare route. It allowed Trump to actually prepare for how to govern this time. If he didnt lose in 2020, it would have just been 4 more years of muddling around. But he lost, and then he was able to learn and now know what to do. Its clear that he spent 4 years learning from his mistakes in the first term. And it shows. Hes not just going at government fraud and waste, hes destroying the pillars that hold it up. Killing USAID was a masterstroke, and completely unexpected. The waste in that agency that has been exposed is damn near criminal. Its pretty clear that it was just money laundering to special interests and NGOs. Gutting entire agencies, removing their authority, downsizing the government.
