These are incredibly rare. It takes some pretty unusual circumstances to track storms this way. Its going to give you a ton of water and fill reservoirs, but its also going to cause all sorts of mudslides and flooding.

Hillary wont do what everyone wants and just shut up and go away. She continues to be a giant blow hard that no one likes and who wont just do us all a favor and go away, forever. America appears cursed to have to suffer through more Hillary than any sane human ever could want. No, not that Hillary. This one: Normally a Category 4 hurricane in this part of the world wouldn't make much news. They almost always blow away into the Pacific here and just spin away far from any people. But not this time. This hurricane has a path taking it directly up Baja and into Southern California, with San Diego and LA currently square in the bullseye. It wont be a Cat 4 storm by the time it gets there because the water is much colder up there, but it still has the potential to bring torrential rains to the area. Some models are predicting as much as a foot of rain in the foothills. Needless to say, that would be catastrophic for the region. They need water, but not that much that quick. Even if they dont hit the upper limits of the rain forecast there is going to be enough rain to cause all sorts of flooding and damage to the region.

If you are arguing that its about "messaging" or "branding" then you've already lost. This phenomenon always seems to pop up during Democratic administrations to. Its inversely proportional to how in trouble that Dem is. The more Dems complain about "messaging", the worse they are doing. "Hes doing all these great things, but none of those rubes will give him credit for it!" is an all too common propaganda piece that pops up in times like this. The economy is not doing well. Inflation is still high. Real wages and earnings are down. People cant afford to buy homes. All sorts of horrible economic indicators that people feel every day. But no, those don't matter, its the message that matters. Biden does not lack marketing. The entire media apparatus outside of Fox is marketing for him. The reason that its not sticking is because its not true. From the moment you are exposed to media you are spoon fed how great he and they hope that if they say it enough it will be true. But it isn't. We are daily being asked to either believe a media thats nothing more than a propaganda outfit or our lying eyes. When you go to the grocery store, when you pay rent, when you pay utilities, when you fill up your tank, when you do anything you are constantly bombarded with how bad things are. That's not a lack of marketing, thats reality. And if the GOP had any sort of sanity left they would realize this, ditch the orange bastard, and roll through '24 to majorities across the board. The only reason Dems aren't in a full blown panic is because the GOP is doing its best to implode. If by some miracle the GOP comes to its senses, or Trump is "unavailable", then any other candidate is going to have a field day with Biden in '24.

2024 is shaping up to be a very simple election. If Trump is on the ballot then any Democrat wins. If Biden is on the ballot, and Trump isn't, then any Republican wins. Trump is simply unelectable by any calculation, and his toxicity is so bad that if he is on the ballot the GOP will lose across the board. Biden is historically unpopular and his policies do not have broad public support. He is losing roughly 20% in his primary to a guy who is a conspiracy nut. Neither candidate is strong, its just a question of which candidate is the weakest come November 24. Trump is the weakest by a mile, but without him on the ballot Biden very likely loses. Theres a reason you are seeing multiple Democrats running shadow campaigns. They are banking on Biden not making it to 24.

But remember, we arent allowed to talk about Biden Inc. or the influence scheme that they ran for years.

Something similar happened out here last year (2 years ago?) where we had a fire and winds 80+ MPH. Most destructive fire in state history. Theres nothing you can do when a fire is moving that fast. Getting out of the way and surviving is literally all you can hope to do when it moves that fast.

She is such a horrible candidate that Tulsi Gabbard ended her campaign. Kamala is basically the Chris Christie of Democrats, but with smaller boobs. Some Dems have been running a shadow campaign knowing this. Newsom has clearly been running a Presidential campaign without making it official. Hes playing the odds that Biden wont be the nominee. Hes counting on something happening in the next 12 months that forces Biden off the ticket and opens a path for him to jump Kamala and be the nominee.

My problem with using social media to talk about UFOs is that its so incredibly easy to just make crap up and then get people to believe its true. There are posts all the time on social media of people claiming to work for the government on UFO related projects. Or posting videos of "UFOs". I would say virtually all of them are crap. Thats what makes todays hearing such a big deal. Its under oath from highly credible witnesses, not some random dude on social media.

That was easily the most interesting congressional hearing I have ever seen. There was so much in there thats going to take time to really unwind.
