Was this the one I missed? Ive been traveling a bunch the last month so I cant remember what was where. For regulations, if those things are so important, and some of them are, then they can be passed as a law. If tracking emissions is a priority for the country, then it can be a law. It might be a high priority for some, but "some" isn't enough. Some people, like me, want to audit the Federal reserve and Pentagon. But there isn't enough popular support for that, so it wont happen. Ive accepted that, even if I still try and do what I can to build support for those positions. That's just how Democracy works. Some things become law, some don't. Im just not going to be convinced that its OK that some nameless face in a bureaucracy should have the authority to write rules and regulations that have the potential to massively impact someones life. Now if we want to talk about the Feds overruling Local laws like the tailpipe regulation, then thats an interesting topic. I dont want DC to dictate rules to the States. Each State is going to have a much better handle on what its citizens needs, and issues, are. So I have no problem with California setting higher emission standards for that state, and at the same time I dont care of one state burns more coal. That might be the cheapest source of energy, and dirty energy is better than no energy. Im not saying regulations are entirely bad. Some are good. Clean water and fire laws are pretty important things. There is mass consensus that those are good things. But it is far too easy for the Feds to issue regulations that punish, or benefit, their political enemies/allies. States are more likely to represent their constituents than the Feds are. I dont remember what that other stuff was about, its been a month. Probably not something we would agree on anyways.

The death count from Irans attack is impressive 1 Palestinian killed in the West Bank Thats it. the rest of the attack was ineffective. It did represent a clear escalation though, one that Israel will respond to. Iran has been fucking around for decades, and it sure seems like they are about to find out. The last time Israel decided to hit Iran they were able to get through their airspace, take out anti-aircraft weaponry around nuclear facilities, and get out without Iran doing anything.

And another that sums up the night nicely. VP debates dont move the needle, but it sure did shine some light on Waltz. Im betting Democrats really wished that it was Shapiro up on that stage last night. But they couldnt do that because of the rabid antisemitism in the left flank of the party right now. Waltz was supposed to help bring along rural men, and he failed miserably at that last night.

They got him! They actually did it! That is amazing news to start the weekend on. One of the most evil people in the world is gone. And beyond just him, the entire command structure is decimated. In the span of 10 days Israel has completely decapitated Hezbollah. Just amazing work.

IDF calls on Lebanese civilians to move away from several sites in Hezbollah bastion https://www.timesofisrael.com/liveblog_entry/idf-calls-on-lebanese-civilians-to-move-away-from-several-sites-in-hezbollah-bastion/ The IDF is calling on Lebanese civilians near several buildings in the Dahiyeh suburb of Beirut, a known Hezbollah stronghold, to evacuate immediately. Col. Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman, publishes maps alongside the announcement, which call on civilians to distance themselves at least 500 meters from three sites in Dahiyeh. Maybe a 2nd round of attacks incoming. Israel really is trying to take Hezbollah out. And its about damn time. No other nation would accept the kind of routine attacks that Israel takes from Hezbollah. They are well within their right to finally wipe Hezbollah out.

Hooolllyyyyy shit, they may have actually done it. Media in the region is treating this very differently than right after the initial attack. They aren't confirming he is alive, and some are saying he isn't reachable. Thats a big shift from earlier today when they were reporting he was fine. Israel isn't saying anything, but leaks are saying they are cautiously optimistic that they got him. People are openly celebrating his death in Muslim countries in the region. Iran is calling an emergency meting, and Hezbollah said they will not be releasing any sort of comment today. This might be real, and it would be absolutely spectacular if true.

Israel launched a massive attack against Hezbollahs HQ. The primary target was Nasrallah. No word yet on if it worked, but Israel has called it a "decapitation strike" aimed at senior leadership.

1,500 Hezbollah fighters lost sight and limbs to pager bombs, report says https://www.ynetnews.com/article/bkpyid11cr "Some 1,500 Hezbollah fighters have been disabled after their communication devices exploded en masse last week, with many losing their sight or suffering hand amputations from the blasts, a senior member of the Lebanese terrorist group told Reuters on Wednesday on condition of anonymity. Hezbollah published a list of casualties over the past week, following the explosions, reporting 37 deaths from various regions across Lebanon. These include the Bekaa Valley, the Dahieh district in Beirut, multiple locations in southern Lebanon and the Akkar region in the north. According to various Lebanese reports, around 3,000 people have been injured by the explosions." That is absolutely remarkable. This is easily one of the greatest precision strikes in a very long time, if not ever. It sounded like the operation was a success, but I dont think anyone could have imagined this level of success. 1,500 terrorists, most in operational command positions, knocked out of action thanks to pagers. Just remarkable.

Something has happened to Hezbollah terrorists this morning. Seems there has been a mass event where their communications devices exploded. There are deaths and casualties being reported, into the hundreds of terrorists. This would be pretty impressive if it turns out to be true. Israel would have had to find a way to intercept these devices and turn them into bombs. Sure seems like Israel is finally playing to win here.

So there was a 2nd assassination attempt, and its clear that the attempted shooter was a left wing lunatic. Harris bumper stickers, donated to ActBlue 20 times, lengthy social media history all espousing left wing ideology. At some point the Left is going to have to take responsibility for their extremist rhetoric. This guy was clearly unstable and was driven to do this by the constant drip of "HES HITLER" coming from the Left. Its also clear that the Left isnt going to stop trying to kill Trump. Everyone better hope they dont succeed, because if they do were basically going to have a Civil War. Theres zero chance that if a left wing lunatic takes out Trump the Right doesnt respond.

They must be finding some absolutely horrible stuff. Its no wonder so many people think this was an inside job. The amount of effort the DHS and SS are putting forward in preventing any information from getting out just leaves people asking "why?".
