Is it directly related to this? Nope, but this is the best thread for this magical piece of news.

Is that hyperbole? Yea, a bit, but thats basically what the Disney lawyers are currently arguing in court. Disney is currently arguing that because someone who died at one of their properties agreed to the Disney+ terms and conditions they cannot bring a lawsuit against Disney and must instead go through binding arbitration. No, Im not kidding. Disney argues wrongful death suit should be tossed because plaintiff signed up for a Disney+ trial https://apnews.com/article/disney-allergy-death-lawsuit-nyu-doctor-florida-4bdaf74e2c889882b23b319ec720680a "Disney is asking a Florida court to dismiss a lawsuit brought against it by Jeffrey Piccolo, the husband of Kanokporn Tangsuan, a family medicine specialist with NYU Langone’s office in Carle Place, on Long Island. The company argues Piccolo had agreed to settle any lawsuits against Disney out of court through the arbitration process when he signed up for a one-month trial of Disney+ in 2019 and acknowledged that he had reviewed the fine print. “The Terms of Use, which were provided with the Subscriber Agreement, include a binding arbitration clause,” the company wrote in its motion. “The first page of the Subscriber Agreement states, in all capital letters, that ‘any dispute between You and Us, Except for Small Claims, is subject to a class action waiver and must be resolved by individual binding arbitration’.”" This is absurd on its face and should be thrown out. If not we are even more fucked that we currently are. On the plus side, the Human-CentiPad might be real

Putin pulls units out of Ukraine to defend Russia, Kyiv says https://www.politico.eu/article/vladimir-putin-pull-army-units-out-ukraine-defend-russia-kursk-belgrod-region/ If this is true, and thats a hugeeeee IF, thats a massive W for Ukraine. It is Ukraine making this claim though, so that has to be kept in mind.

Its truly remarkable watching the media turn the propaganda up to 11 to try and lift her. Its been 3 weeks since she was anointed, and in that time she has done zero interviews or answered any questions. The only policy position she has officially endorsed she stole from Trump and tried to make it her own. Harris is such a bad candidate that just a few months ago there was open discussion about dropping her from the VP ticket so Biden could pick someone more popular. The media is going full force propaganda, but people still remember just how bad she is. And if she ever actually stuck to one policy position that she didnt steal from Trump it would get even worse for her because her positions are extreme.

A boycott is protected speech, and its something we see all the time. The Left have weaponized boycotts to great success, and the Right finally learned how to do the same with Bud Light. But this, this isnt a boycott. This is a cabal of companies who were wielding their collective power to try and silence any speech they did not agree with. In the 2020 election HP, through this very group, said that any mention of the Hunter Biden Laptop must be suppressed. Think its a legitimate story that should be investigated? You no longer have advertising dollars on your website. Lets put it this way, lets say that Visa, MasterCard, AmEx and Discover all no longer agrees with the Democratic platform so they decide that they will wield their immense power to shut anything related to the Democratic party out of their systems. No more fundraising, no more paying volunteers with credit, no more access to pretty much anything in this country anymore. Thats not a boycott, thats censorship. They, using their vast power, have just decided for everyone that the speech of the Democratic party is no longer allowed. Thats exactly what we see with groups like this. They wield their immense power to freeze out any speech that they might disagree with. I am consistently amazed that the same group of people who constantly rail against billionaires and these mega corporations rush to defend them in cases like this. Is it OK for these mega corps to wield their massive power to influence speech and politics, or isnt it?

This is the exact kind of thing that we do. "Oh, we cant have weapons in the DMZ. OK, no one said anything about ABOVE the DMZ. Ignore those BUFFs" Ukraine is learning from us, and its so great to see.

The memes are pretty good so far. Sure is sounding like the UA made a serious push into Kursk, F-16s are rumored to have taken part in the assault.

No really, what the actual fuck? Ukraine has launched a large offensive into Russia itself? And have apparently made progress in the region? Sounds like there may have been hundreds of Russian POWs captured as well.
