  1. It's most likely 'cause We don't post all that much. But there's also a chance it's because We died. Happy Mortal Reminder
  2. And this changes your life how?
  3. https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0005286/?ref_=nv_sr_2 No.
  4. Really? That's your point of contention?

Ethics is about whether or not you should. It says nothing about whether or not you can.
  6. It's not the "50 ft" part that scares people. It's the "Attack of" bit. The terror comes not simply from seeing the thing, but the threat it poses.
  7. We hear that it's very cold in space. But yeah, shut up Wesley.
  8. Congratulations! Now, you're going to need to fight every instinct you have, because it will be rather crippling when you eventually do drive her away.
  9. Depends on what you mean by having an opinion. Everything We're aware of, We have at the very least, a first impression of- which generally includes snap judgments as to whether or not a thing is good or useful. On things We generally don't care about, We hold the view, which can easily be construed as opinion, that they are trivial or irrelevant. Most, if not all, things that We're not aware of align either with or against values and principles We presently hold, so even for those We have a preexisting disposition that just hasn't yet been actualized. It is possible, though, that there exists some thing that has no analog to anything We are aware of, and thus no relation to Our conceptual framework of the universe. What such a thing would be, We obviously cannot conceive, let alone convey.

  12. With Our intuition, generally. But sometimes also with Our toes.
  13. My, what an exceptionally riveting and compelling life you must lead, for this to be the pinnacle.
  14. Next time We make the claim of being many, We'll think about it...
  15. We use We. Thought that was obvious.
  16. "It is conflict that improves the lot of civilization and single being, both. Conflict forces one to better oneself. It forces change, growth, adaption, evolution… or death. These are not out laws, but the universe's. Without conflict you have only stagnation."
  17. Aliens are not a monolith.
  18. Poor kitten. Not even your pretend girlfriends want to spend time around you.
  19. No. Yes. Futilely.
  20. "This too, shall pass"
  21. For one, what we have deemed to call politics here in the States for the last twenty years or so is little more than hacky partisanship. If you strip away the petty drama and zero--sum irrationality, the intricacies of deal making and policy writing can be quite interesting; you know, in the same way that chemistry can. Beyond that, though, the values that underpin each of the two major doctrines are both very distinct, even having roots in biology, and very necessary for a functioning society. The corrupt motives and actions of those in power of either party is a different matter.
  22. As a ginormous tool once said, "you just wouldn't understand."
  23. If losers won things, they wouldn't be losers.
  24. It's a decent song. So that leaves option B.
