In the little town I grew up in I lived like 3 doors down from another kid named Derrick (my name is Derrick if you didn't know)....We were friends all our lives but he came out in high school....Not like he was fooling anyone. At any rate, he became known as "gay" Derrick....It was how people differentiated us from one another. I don't recall him ever really being ridiculed for it though because he hung out with 2 other gay dudes who were twins and fucking huge....Roylee and Leroy made being gay something not to make fun of and soon he stopped being "gay" Derrick and people just started calling him Coop. I do feel bad for people who get assaulted mentally and physically for their sexual affiliations but one does not just physically assault these motherfuckers.
