  1. I usually let these two sleep inside every night, but they don't have to.. If it's really hot I let them inside to cool off, but I've gotten too lax on letting them stay inside anyway..They spend most of their time out doors, but they can come inside and shed a carpet of hair in a few minutes.
  2. Yeah the replacement for this "Eureka Exact pet" was $10 online with shipping, but it gets clogged up every time I use it unless I vacuum daily. Second time I've had to take it apart and put on a new belt and I havent even used it that much. A shop vac is sounding good though.. I've never used one inside on a carpetted floor, but when it's shedding season I could use that thing to save my house vac the stress I guess.. I just want to be able to vacuum without worrying about breaking my machine.
  3. Come to Texas and join your brethren I guess. Just don't be yelling at me to stay off your lawn like the rest of 'em. I'm the cabe guy dammit.
  4. Rogue_Alphonse[/member] Just buy one of these for everything or wat lol?
  5. I was thinking that might be best lol, shouldn't have to worry about it breaking at least. How much does one of those go for?
  6. Sorry for necro bump, but I'm still trying to work this issue. If I vacuumed more I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem this is mostly my fault. I wait until my dogs shed visible clumps of hair before I vacuum a lot, and I know I should vacuum at least every few days and I don't do it near as often as that. I took my vacuum apart and just as I expected a huge mass of hair had got jammed in the side of the rollers and made the belt overheat and melt on to the roller a bit.. I ordered another belt to try and get this one back up and running, but I'm still looking for a better vacuum that has a roller designed with this in mind. I read a bunch of great stuff online about the Bissel Pet Hair Eraser vacuum, but I'm not ready to spend $200+ on a vacuum just yet. I'll probably just try to use this cheap walmart one, and if it keeps being a problem I'll try another vac. It's a cheaper Bissel pet vac, but the roller design seems alot better than the one I have. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009XI21O8/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2GZV9JIPA54NY&colid=24ZWEOL0EONVT
  7. sorry about that.. all I know is I do need an upgrade.. or maybe if I fix this vacuum I can just buy one of those little handheld pet-hair vacuums to touch up the bad spots so the hair doesn't clog up the main vacuum.
  8. The hair from two Border Collie mixes is enough to break the belt on this cheap "Eureka Airspeed exact pet" vacuum twice in a few months. Now I either need to take it apart and probably put another replacement belt on it, or find a vacuum that doesn't get hair caught in the rollers. Anybody here got any cheap but effective suggestions for pet hair vacuums? I'm thinking about trying this https://www.amazon.com/dp/B009XI21O8/_encoding=UTF8?coliid=I2GZV9JIPA54NY&colid=24ZWEOL0EONVT but if money wasn't an object I'd buy this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01DTYB05C/ref=asc_df_B01DTYB05C5221080/?tag=hyprod-20&creative=394997&creativeASIN=B01DTYB05C&linkCode=df0&hvadid=167140851087&hvpos=1o2&hvnetw=g&hvrand=14970150941303386396&hvpone=&hvptwo=&hvqmt=&hvdev=c&hvdvcmdl=&hvlocint=&hvlocphy=9028429&hvtargid=pla-275023924465
  9. wait powerade popsicles. :poop:
  10. Things to consider: CPU-number of cores/multitasking ability..that's really all I can say here unfortunately. Hard-Drive or..Drive- Solid state or Hard Disk Drive. I've heard there's a lot more affordable SSD options out there now, but my build just has a terabyte seagate HDD. (An SSD should have a longer shelf life, and run a lot faster) RAM- This is just a generalization, but the more RAM you have the faster your system will usually operate. I got 2 sticks of 4gig ram for a 'whopping' 8 gigs though in this thing that being said. MOTHERBOARD- Make sure this is laid out in a way you'r comfortable with, and that it includes spaces for everything you want.(you may want it to have a lot of unused ram slots to add more of that)etc Graphics Card- How much do you care about graphics and gaming. I have a gygabyte radeon something or other. that is ok for 'light gaming' as you put it, but others here can help you more with that I'm sure. CPU Cooler- I'm going to include case design, extra fans, liquid cooling and all that here. Just need a good venting case and CPU cooler if you arent hosting the library of Alexandria on your computer or something imo. Did I miss something? I might have. OS? not really part of the tower, but you should have an OS in mind already for your build before you set it up imo.
  11. Nice.. Didn't just have to look that up. I'm legitimately jealous though. If anyone here ever makes a song you think is radio worthy it'd be awesome if you would play it or you know, try to get it on there or something. 0_o
  12. yeah.. I think my build would be great for you.. I didn't come up with it it was put together buy some youtube tech/ gaming channel for around $800 at the time. I wish I could remember who the fuck they were, but that 800 was just for the tower no monitors, keyboards or anything else. There should be a lot of build guides that list a range of options based on what you want on youtube or just google the shit. A lot of people will post guides that include entry, medium, and enthusiast level pcs side by side.
  13. I just have a quad-core intel processor. Alot of times bottle knecking issues cause crap like he said was happening. A store bought computer is more likely to face issues due to that over time in my opinionm though you can have a bottle-knecking pc and not notice any issues at all ofcourse.
  14. What kind of computer is it and is it a laptop/desktop. You're graphics card could just be struggling. Whether it's a laptop/desktop or not doesn't really matter then you just need to get a new graphics card.. also could be a monitor issue or a number of other things going on with the os and drivers.. All of which are more easy to fix on a desktop.
  15. YAY friday the 13th is over for one. Still trying to decide if I want to work today.
  16. screw that. I'd head for the hills and woodlands.
  17. I wouldn't be surprised if that's still a big thing. The guy is hispanic and the original posts I saw from clicking on stuff in the sales part of facebook were all in spanish. Someone in his family told me he works in construction. I wouldn't be surprised if there was some copper spools or something on his truck. If you are gonna have those on your truck I'd lock the damn doors.
  18. uggh maybe I just havent tasted one with quality ingrediants. -_' That never sounds appealing though.
  19. No I felt bad though when a girl I was fooling around with sent her hubby packing and went on a cross country trip with me.. Pretty sure she ended up taking him back and that's why she's not part of my life any more but *shrugs* people gonna do what people gonna do..
  20. *narrows eyes*
  21. As a kid I once had a cat eat and puke up a pair of earbuds..
  22. yeah there's really good earbuds out there to, but I hate putting shit inside my ear. Hard to make the comprimise, but I choose less expensive ear buds because unless I'm skateboarding or working I'll still rock some earphones lol.
  23. I almost wanted to add the fact that I'm sure she didn't 'rage' quit, but meh. I got the gist of it The same thought has occured to me.. Why she left.
  24. Long as it aint a cone snail I welcome the little creature. *pokes* so smooth and slimey.
