To answer your question probably 10 days tops. I have a fenced in backyard though, and a spare bedroom that's still trashed from raising a big horde of puppies so..

I don't know why but I have a thing for the plague doctor get up. I think I still got a good enough mask for it on me ebay wish list. Then I just need a black robe or something. I never have a reason to dress up as a grown man though, and I'm pretty sure my nieghbors think I'm weird enough without seeing me walk around in that.

They definitely wouldn't need to throw it anymore, but it might help with aim.

I get that it's a wizard of oz reference, but that movie was to corny for me to associate it with halloween. Don't get me wrong the story is just ancient now. Actual flying monkeys would be hell.
