I shopped there due to the card Ginguy was talking about when I could.. no actuallly when I was where I was at in Georgia the same names were all fighting for spots.. and the one closest to what you were talking about was..honestly food lion. The corporate world is a bitch.. Walmart still ruled the area probably in terms of size.. but that one still kind of blowed even for a corporate ass walmart.

Texas would be a literal wasteland due to overfarming if people didn't have to get with the program.

I had to read that carefully.. Many big profit farming operations take advantage of government subsidies to have industrial waste/ well documented chemical garbage shot into their stock I know, but GMOs...Meaning literally genetically modified organisms do not automatically entail the same stuff.. Many farms have gotten with great programs to modify the stock to be resistant to the same bullshit bad farming practices have led them to be susceptible to by ignorant breeding etc. Just kind of seems like you're saying.. Well I can feed my family fuck everybody else.. but that's honestly part of the debate as a whole. As someone that comes from a place where sharecropping etc provides the best example... idk man.

So gmo bad or something.. How so.. Especially when it takes certifications, and knowledge that hasn't really been presented in any arguement against it..Current pesticides are horrible for ecology worldwide, but this doesn't seem to come up in the minds of GMO repugnant people near as often.

I bought a house here.. and also my dogs.. I don't want to leave them behind honestly. Not for long anyway. One of them had to deal with living with my mother for 4 years.. Hey my mom may not be bad people, but that's still 4 years longer than I'd want to live with her. /Sorry mom. Also when I got back from the military she hadn't done shit really.. idk. I was able to help her get a way higher paying job, and shit. Personal stuff really, but honestly given a solid position that would help me pay for the expense I don't really care. My dogs are pretty much family to me though. I hate to think about someone not giving them the space or attention they deserve.

Why was why not NOT an option? The debate around that seems much more political than scientific honestly..Though bad lab practices could result in faulty stock..the same can be said, and more about some farming operations/

Yeah seems nice.. I know disco wanted to try a wildlife/ abandoned pet thing or something like that so it sounds nice. I wish I still lived where you guys are probably at or in a 15 minute driving distance from honestly.. Need animal/ecological tips I guess I got you covered.. I've been looking for a way to pursue my interests in that feild without having to worry about wasting tuition for a degree or I might already be looking at some cool animals for a living.. Maybe I should try to go the vet route here, but meh..

If you have the cash it seems like a solid investment.. and I believe you have some years of wisdom on me.. I thought about doing the same, but then there's only so much you can do by yourself.. I learned a lot about farming, and hunting from my stepdad.. but still it takes dedication to go that route. I don;t have the money to fund a business or anything either so when I saw cheap 'land' like that I didn't want to fall into traps when I actually had the money stashed to do it.

Aww man they taste like fucking... I don't even know.. You fry 'em up over a fire in the woods with the proper cuts, and seasoning. It's better than you will EVER taste.. Still weirds me out to kill something, and eat it like that even but. Pigs will fight back though given the chance, and a lot of times even attack you without provocation so.. That's kind of wht I've experienced a lot anyway so it helps me not to feel so guilty.

I have zero remorse for Wild pigs.. Or pigs for that matter. Plenty of bad experiences growing up. Razorbacks SUCK when they're wild.

I used to shoot Pheasants, and quail mostly.. I hit some ducks with a blowdart rig one time only the fool didn't die, and it made me feel bad so I kept him.. I hit deer with shotguns and whatever rifle my old step dad used to use lol.. I've even hunted some wild pigs in Georgia.

I never shot at a deer with one either I must add though. I didn't mess with them when I was little. Disney's Bambi probably had me fucked up.

lol yeah the truck does come in handy if you have a clearing lol. I've never hit a deer with a crossbow either.. That's why I don;t really want to try now..Where I was there was plenty of tasty game fowl for the picking though.

I've literally almost bought a bow that's the same brand Darrel uses in the walking dead without knowing lol.. It costs as much as a friggin beater car or something though so it's hard to make that final click for me. I had a crossbow back when I lived in the real Texas boonies. Served me well.
