  1. They were packed.. There was literally a line running out of the door. Which depending on the location I know that's not uncommon really at all. This could've been avoided if the administration..and I had a better idea of what to expect at the location. I mean really all I could do was show up on time at the bus yard and be ready to drive over there. At least now the trainers, and admin know what to expect. Like I said they are used to going to a different facility. I was told to schedule my test at this facility only because they had an available appointment slot that was months closer than the other facility.
  2. This escalated...as expected I guess.
  3. Fucking things up for everybody as usual..
  4. Just do your research and properly inspect the house you mortgage, and you can avoid all that *knocks on wood* I noted the water heater was new here, the condition of the appliance connections, doors etc..literally just about everything. House shopping is meant to be a pretty time consuming process, but I mean.. it's all so you get what you pay for in the end.. I even had to go back and forth with a few counter offers from the previous owner until I could get some needed repairs done by them before I signed off..
  5. Yeah.. Plus my trainer even told me to just focus on getting into the national guard first if I need to, and he'll work with me to brush up and make sure I don't get rusty when it comes closer to the test date. I need to do that first anyway so I can have some kind of secured income to get me through these dmv/dot hoops. Hopefully all the stress it's put me through hasn't affected my weight loss. I know I havent had the time or energy to work out as much as I wanted to this week, but I was just 6 lbs over the weight limit last time I weighed myself.. and it's only because of my height/age that they are considering me over weight anyway.. Friggin MEPS people are worse than the DMV sometimes.
  6. Idk man that was a pretty funny story though. Homeless guys do say the darnedest things.. Its usually a pretty interesting conversation just asking them how things are going, but the "gimme all you change right now, or if not how about a smoke or two" type hobos really can try your nerves sometimes.
  7. You need to look like the kind of guy that shoots bums and calls the police over a poor parking job while traveling.
  8. Your financial life is confusing I thought you were.. nvm.
  9. My drivers test just wasn't meant to be today I guess. (Fair warning this may turn out to be more of a rant, but I don't really want to be next to all the racism and politics right now so I'm making it here.) So me and my trainer left the bus yard in my town at about 7:45 this morning.. We drove about 50 miles to the DMV that was going to be in charge of my drivers test, and signed in at about 9:20 am. My appointment..(The drivers test) was scheduled at 9:40 am.. Keep in mind my trainer, and the administration here are used to taking applicants to another DMV that's in a city just a little bit further from mine than this one, but in the opposite direction so none of them knew what to expect when it comes to the specific ways they go about dictating the test. First off as soon as we pulled the bus into the inspection lane we were informed by an examiner that we actually needed to get back on the service road and use the interstate to rap around the facility, and park in a specific empty street about a block away from the building and come back and wait in line to be called up to fill out the paper work.. This city.. which is a pretty well established metropolitan area only has one dmv location so ofcourse it was packed full of kids trying to get their license, and everything else. When we finally got called up it was well passed the 9:40 am appointment slot so we were informed I'd have to reschedule the test at a later date.. Now the next closest appointment date is July 30. One thing I have to fault myself on is I didn't read in the original confirmation email closely enough because it says to be there at least an hour early.. My trainer wasn't expecting this either though of course so we made a pointless 50 mile trip.. NOTHING IS EVER EASY when it comes to the dmv or dot regulated work or licensing though I know, but it's still bullshit.
  10. How the fuck of you been posting here more than a day without having a grizzly encounter?
  11. There's a million people saying it doesn't exist and the #whatvideo thing is just a meme for some attention seekers wanting to be trendy. All the posts I've seen on varying social media from people claiming to have seen it are just as cryptic as you about what it entails accept for one post I found from a guy saying it's about as nasty as the two girls one cup thing.. All I can say is I have a facebook with over 200 friends on it and some of them are stupid enough to make their own two girls one cup video and post it just for attention I'm sure. This thread is still the first I've heard of the video or the whatvideo hashtag.
  12. Same, but I'm physically fat as well. I lost seven pounds just by watching my diet though more or less. I still have weight to lose to meet army standards or I wouldn't care though.
  13. That's what I was gonna say lol. The numbers are what would really make it funny.
  14. Cool. It almost looks like a house cat aside from a little bit if noticable camoflauge adaptation and the more pronounced canines.
  15. It was pretty funny.
  16. That's some good advice. I havent heard of that website, but I have so much going on right now with work, and the training involved with that I've had to kind of block any ideas of music from my mind. As far as group members I really only want a few other rappers that can take things seriously enough for me to want to split beats into 16 bar sections with, and people that have atleast a working knowledge of most popular DAWS that they don't need instructions on how to record edit, and perfect vocals and sample mixes. I would be doing mixing projects and working on getting a unique sound together as well as writing rap verses for beats right now, but I've been in and out of work too much, and worrying about my financial state. I've had some freelance hiphop producers want to work with me recently to, but it's just too hard for me to even sit down and write rap verses that live up to the standards I've set for myself atm. I think the next step for me might just be working on making my own beats, and maybe selling, and leasing those if I get good enough anyway.
  17. Well good luck friend I wish you the best with that. I've wanted to get a group together for the music I do for years now, but it's even harder in some ways to do that for hiphop. Atleast as a rapper you don't have to worry about your drums, or rythm and other instruments walking out on you. Everyone I know that's tried to get a band together goes through that to some extent from what I've seen as well.
  18. It was a hint that your routine needs more key knife material.
  19. I think all the buses in this fleet are automatic thankfully. I havent drove stick in so long.. plus I've never really drove a vehicle with a manual transmission long enough for it to get second nature so that would make this process twice as frustrating if I had to.
  20. The only thing I did productive today was working on straight line/ offset backing, and parallel parking a school bus for a few hours. My driving test is Friday, and there's so many parts of the school bus I have to point out and talk about for the pretrip inspection that I'm losing my mind. I have to drive 50 miles to the city where I'm going to do the test tomorrow as well though since my trainer wants to scope out the DMV and make sure I get some driving experience there. I will be so glad when I finally get all this training, and testing out of the way.
  21. That doesn't make any sense something has to be wrong with an automated flagging system or something. Hopefully it doesn't do that everytime you make a small purchase or that would be highly annoying. Unless they saw the charge was way out of the geographic area you usually use the card. Some companies will lock an account until you call in and verify it's you if they see that.
  22. I'm curious too that sounds like a pretty entertaining story.
