Wait so are you talking about voodoo? I mean the word zombie does come from Haitian french, but if you're saying zombies are racist just because writers and hollywood capitalized on them being a widely circulated legend amongst voodoo practicioners I gotta say meh.. I mean even saying "well the writers made everyone assume all black people were affiliated with voodoo." is a stretch.. I'm not saying a racist zombie flick or video game can't exist I'm sure they do, but just having a black zombie or black characters that partake in crime and other stuff that fits that society driven stereotype in your story isn't inherently racist.. I mean I'm pretty sure this movie from about the same time had a bunch of panties in an uproar.. No one really watches a zombie flick to give a fuck about humanitarianism, political correctness, and history though do they. 🤨
