This is, and always will be, a very shallow sentiment. Probably not the best thread for that, though.

Most people can't draw hands. If you look closely on animation, a common practice is to have them closed or at angles with only a couple fingers visible at a time. It's why so many western cartoons have fewer fingers as a base character design, like Family Guy or The Simpsons. Not really an AI exclusive issue, it's not uncommon to see off-model hands or people with 6 fingers even when it's hand-drawn.

What do you think people mean when they call it a genocide? What actions has Israel taken that could be viewed as genocidal? I'm asking this seriously since, despite personally questioning your motives, I would like to believe you've put some thought into the criticisms people have had on your commentary. If you haven't, that's unfortunate and very sad.

MD should read Animorphs. Everyone should read Animorphs. It's relevant to the philosophy discourse.

I just placed and order for my college transcripts
naraku360 replied to Still Me's topic in General Discussion
My university closed and their records are held by a different university for student access. The best case scenario for a university deciding to not safeguard student transcripts during closure would be negligence. I'd be surprised if there were no record retention regulations for education, especially when going to college is so expensive. -
I only recently discovered Scrappy Doo is a very hated character. Seems weird. I never had a problem with him as a kid, and from what I've seen as an adult, he's like just another Scooby Doo cast member. Probably a little annoying for adults, but not really out of place and ultimately pretty inoffensive. He was definitely a character I had limited opinion on since his appearances are more sporadic than most of the cast and the Scooby Doo team shifting so much between incarnations was one thing about the franchise that confused the fuck out of me growing up, so I really didn't know what to make of him. Anyway, I do appreciate him getting GOATed for offing the worst version of Velma anyone has ever conceived.

I was responding to MD and was on a different thought process. I was clarifying what I'd been referring to. We were just talking about different things. I was talking about the causes, she was talking result.

I don't know where I made excuses for antisemitism or where you got that I "keep doing it." Like, what are you talking about? I don't think people like Tucker Carlson or Candace Owens are sincere in their holocaust denialism. Nothing in that statement makes them less dangerous, nor is it denying the rise of antisemitism. It's literally giving an example of how we got to the rise in antisemitism, not a rejection of the premise.

Oh, I'm aware. I just mean that a lot of people are insincere in holding that belief, particularly within media spaces. I guess I was thinking more in terms of people with political agendas and the weight to swing it rather than the average person.

Regularly. 😎

There are nazis who hide behind holocaust denial as a way to push approval without accepting responsibility for their views. I don't think there are many sincere holocaust deniers, and I would question the sincerity of anyone denying Oct. 7 being Hamas' doing. I'm not sure there is anything that can be done. It's a war of information, so education and media are pretty much what we have, and neither are fast or reliable methods.

No.

How does killing the human shield help the human shield?

No, none of Israel's war crimes would have happened if Israel hadn't committed them.

It's like getting kicked in the brain every time she posts.

Have you read the rest of the conversation? We just got done agreeing with you.

He said "wouldn't be surprised" suggesting he isn't stating fact. And historically, just about every civil rights protest has had people trying to discredit them by sneaking in to start shit. This is one of the most common tactics for snuffing out movements.

I don't think I have much to add here. As far as what I'm familiar with goes, I don't have any real disagreements that would come to mind. The only thing you and Pooh haven't mentioned is that I don't think they should be asking for a blanket reversal of disciplinary action. The majority may be well meaning, but it should be case-by-case to weed out the ones that were pushing for violence against Jews, who should actually receive the punishment. The good faith protesters shouldn't be punished for the actions of bad faith ones, and the bad faith ones shouldn't walk away without consequence.
