I woke up to ban screens so many times hung over....then I gotta remember or make an alt just to see wtf I did because once you're banned you can't see shit but the damn ban screen. It even made it so you couldn't log out since you couldn't navigate out of it, so I had to clear history just to log back in. Which really used to grind my gears while I was sweating alcohol.

Nope, I got out after the first run. I don't come here to work and I wanted to turn it into the bar, but as long as scoob does the heavy lifting, I'm still in.

I just remember because it was during Gameboy link days and my friend, who was a huge pokenerd, had moves on pokemon that didn't go together. I was thinking it was an egg move. But in retrospect, you couldn't breed in gen 1 so I could totally be thinking gen 2-3.

I can't remember if he could learn earthquake in gen one but I distinctly remember him having a lightning move which made him dangerous

Your hang-up over Blastoise is pretty unrelated to Squirtle's awesomeness. Squirtle has a pretty diverse move pool starting out and frankly, makes early game far more manageable than playing with Charizard or Bulbasaur

Well I'm not even in the running, but I've always held fast to the notion that I was the last Babbler. So I'm sticking with that. My first account's reg date would be in 2005 when i just played games. My first post to the ASMB was in 2008.
