this 15 minute break has already been an hour and a half long

work has been pretty awful, but that should be over after tomorrow. I'll be gone for more than a week. I've got the whole going home thing to worry about before I even have to come back to work, and by then production will be back up and running. Going home is a fucking weird thing to say when I've never really considered anywhere home before, and have never been in an entirely different region of the country from my family. It's weird because being a navy brat means "home" is an elusive concept. There's no home town to return to, and I'm used to finding myself in new places, but now, I guess, socal is home. Seeing my family for the first time since transitioning is also gonna be weird. I'm sure most of them will be cool though. There's a few conservatives that might make things awkward, but who knows. If other people's conservative family members can not make it awkward then maybe mine can too. I am gonna miss getting out of work during the day. Not that the night isn't nice, I'm kinda nocturnal and love the peace of being awake at night, but getting out of work when the sun is shining has me feeling pretty great. now I'm gonna let myself enjoy some valheim because I can (havent wanted to play anything for a while) and because i think I deserve a treat

atheism isn't necessarily a positive assertion that gods don't exist, merely a description of a position in which one doesn't believe in a god or gods. one can accurately consider themselves an atheist from the position of "i don't know for certain, but i have no reason to believe or act as if any deity exists". agnosticism also covers more topics than just the existence of a god or gods. there's the question of a soul, for example, which one can be agnostic towards. i don't feel that simply saying I'm an atheist would be accurate enough because I'm agnostic on the matter of those other topics. of course, i also use these labels decriptively, not definitively

You know what's really funny? When you say you're agnostic atheist and random ass people get all upset about it because they want them to be mutually exclusive for some reason

i don't really need to take all day off tomorrow for my appointment, but i really don't want to be at work this week so, fuck it.

god i would be so pissed off if someone fucked with my workspace like that. that's so invasive and rude

i do not want to fucking be here. i hate this. production is shut down for expansion work, which is fine, but I'd rather just lose the hours and not work these weeks than be here, wondering around, looking for work. i like knowing what to expect at work. i like knowing what's expected of me. normally i have a nice little routine and turn my brain off and listen to music and just do my job. not right now. no, now I'm just fucking lost, and i have to interact with people way more, and i just don't want to fucking do this shit. this isn't my goddamn job.
