My mother went to the Madonna concert recently. I did not know her father was from the Pittsburgh area. Madonna would come here every summer growing up, to help her grandparents' farm.

Day 65: Two months into the new year and I'm still going strong. My BMI finally went under 40, meaning I am no longer morbidly obese. I was close to reaching 300 pounds at the end of last year. I am very proud that I have avoided that fate. I have lost approximately 18 pounds so far. If I continue at this rate, I should be able to have a BMI lower than 30 by the end of the year.

Nothing. I ate two samosas for lunch. Maybe I'll do a proper fast every leap day.

I'm fasting all day. I guess that's one way to make this day special. Praise be to . . . uh, Ra.

My heart rate no longer rises up as much as I want it to when I exercise. It's a good sign that I'm getting more fit, but it also means I need to push myself harder, which I find to be annoying. I guess it prevents complacency.
